Nothing, you can skip 90% of the map by just following the main quest, all without any need of microtransactions.
And those are the reasons not all games are coming to Xbox.
Song doesn't need to pay SE money to get games. The difference is thay SE games sell on Playstation but they don't sell on Xbox.

Easily GOTY for me, and probably one of the best games I've ever played.
Just like most games, the sidequest is an expansion of the story, the world and the chatacters and also deepen the lore of the Final Fantasy VII Saga.
Also like in most games, sidequests are totally optional.
My intention when I started the game was to get through the main story first, and if I liked it enough, get deeper in to side content.
However, all the sidequests was very interesting and award giving, so I ended up playing the ga...

That it sold less physical in Japan first day is no proof it selling less worldwide thou.
I doubt Rebirth is selling badly.
How would you know that it's selling slower than Remake, even if it wouldn't be strange as PS4 was around the double amount wheb Remake was released.
Just want to know where you got your info, as I haven't seen any, more than it's selling very well worldwide.
Why would anyone care about the microtransaction when it doesn't do anything for you in the game outside what you can already do?
The game is amazing without it and is just there for people who want to save time and can afford it.
There is no game called Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2, but Rebirth had a great ending imo. Felt robbed by the ending at first, but the more I've seen it and during my 3rd playthrough, I started to understand and realize a lot more that make me appreciate the ending.
