Don’t take me wrong, I’m a Sony guy, but most of those games are actually not on PS5 at release.
Still it’s a pretty weak lineup for Series X.
I have pre-ordered both consoles, but 0 games for Series X and 8 games for PS5 (4 multiplat).
I’m happy with the release games for at least 1 consoles.
With a PS5 or connected to a PC?
The praise is about the features in the Dual Sense when used with a PS5, features that most likely won’t be available through PC.
If you’re going in for the PS5, congratulations. I had all consoles and a well built PC, but can’t imagine a life without some of the most outstanding games that was only on Playstation.
It’s exactly the other way around.
They do this to make Ps5 exclusive VR games.
Yes, I thought that was obvious as the dude in the video said that ☺️
So this is 14-15 seconds in a releasegame. That’s insane. Big applauds to Mr Cerny. Wow... just wow.
Well, look again.
Watch the video Greg Miller put up a 2 days ago.
Awesome for us who loves our trophies. 👍
Works great with Windows for me.
Either with the USB-dongle or input mapper.
MGS4 can be played through PSNow so that will still work great with PS5
12?
If you mean for us PS Plus users it’s 20 games in the Collection, Bugsnax and Astro’s Playroom.
What 12 games where you thinking about?
It’s not the Playstation fans that asks for backwards compatibility, it’s the non Ps-fans that seem to want that.
Why buy a console to play games that are 8+ Years old?
I can only talk for myself of course, but I buy a new console to play new games, and maybe some of the games released last couple of years.
It has never been a problem before, won’t be now. I’m glad Sony focus on the future and not trying to sell backwards comparibilty as a feature.
@TheGreatGazoo30
Oh, another one of those who have no clue.
Won’t dwelve into it, as you would probably still believe what you say is true.
About ”just output games at 1440p”.
The Series S ALREADY shows that it will suffer more than that.
Devil May Cry won’t have Ray Tracing on the Series S version, so we’re talking next-gen problems even ahead of release.
Or just blocked by region.
I doubt it will be codes in the box.
The text says that with PS5 you will get all the PS Plus benefits you had on PS4, and aswell the Collection.
If you read the text above the 20 included games aswell you might be less confused.
PS Plus Collection will NOT be playable on PS4. It’s a benefit for having PS5.
Can you please tell me which games on Xbox One X that looks better than God of War, Last of Us Part 2, Final Fantasy VII Remake and Ghost of Tsushima?
Third part studios and MS First Part Studios now have to take Xbox One And Series S into consideration when making games, while Sony First Part Studios can focus all just the power of PS5.
It’s not just a slider to make this work.
In 2-3 years I am certain we’ll see even bigger gaps in favour for P...
@DJScotty
That’s not what the text says thou.
It says that in 84% of the countries more people want PS5 than Series X.
In 16% of the countries, more people want Series X. That for me is shocking because my guess would be that 100% the countries would prefer PS5.
Anyways, back to topic.
Out of those countries, let’s just use fantasy numbers. 1000 more PS5 are sold than Series X.
Let’s pretend this statistic is ...
Exclusive to PS5 owners.
Edit: Exclusive to play on PS5.
You don’t need to own PS5 to put them in library I guess.
Is there anything you like with anything that has to do with PS5?
I never seen a positive comment from you, but still I see you in every single PS thread.
If you are talking about 2 of the 23 games, Shadow of War and Hollow Knight, they actually been on PSNow aswell even before Gamepass.
Don’t compare PSPlus with Gamepass, PSPlus is like Games with Gold.
If you compare Gamepass it should be with PSNow. That means, compare the 250 games with around 700 games.
You do know that it’s next to impossible to buy/pre-order a PS5 right now, right?
And that’s with even more PS5 available than there was PS4.
I and many with me doesn’t need to see everything. We know that Sony will deliver.
Sony knows their product will sell out anyways.
And I’m glad that we haven’t seen everything yet, that will make a more surprise moment just days ahead of me aquiring one myself.
