This game- Killer Instinct- is the sole reason I pre-ordered an XBOX One. I also remember importing Vampire Savior and the 32meg cart for the Sega Saturn. I know I am not alone in fondness for KI but you are correct, the more I see about this game the more it seems "off."
You really have to wonder how familiar any of these people are with Killer Instinct at all. The game came out 19 years ago 'fer cryin' out loud! How many people (besides me) are even old enough to have played it (in the arcade, on SNES, and N64) and still care?
Okay, I know I got knocked earlier for an obvious joke (BTW as stated in previous posts I have both upcoming consoles pre-oredered and really just want XBONE for KI) but has Mad Katz ever made a controller/ gamepad, accessory, worth a darn? I have been gaming for 30 years, managed an EB Games and do not equated Mad Katz with "quality." Perhaps something has changed but seriously do we really expect this to be good?

Does anyone even care that you can do this on Wii U (jump to web browser while playing a game- it even prompts a search for the current game you are playing)? Has Nintendo even pointed this out?

Good point. As a launch day 3DS and Wii U buyer, I wouldn't mind another price drop/ambassador program for the Wii U.

I know I will probably get destroyed for posting this but I am glad I got an XBOX One Preorder in last week before Amazon ran out. And yes, I also have a PS4 preordered too. Okay, I'll try- "Little Kings Story" (sort of) I know it is obscure but that it the gist of games like this. Although Pikmin is listed as an RTS, it is quite a bit different than Civilization or Command & Conquer.
I just got back into Ni No Kuni. The game is an absolute treat. There have been plenty of times I have stopped to enjoy the scenery, simply spinning slowley and marveling at the graphics. Even the world map is gorgeous.
