It's called IP hoarding. Buying up the industry and locking away huge parts of it, I expect nothing more from the industries biggest POS Microsoft.

It is a bit odd that one of the biggest evil corporations to exist is publishing a game that's against evil corporations. MS is literally replacing staff with AI, firing thousands, IP hoarding, oh and aiding a genocide and the famine of a city that's 50% children.

The right wing get played so easily, you were told but never listen

All you need is "fear of the other" and some key jangling about woke and you can get them believing anything.

...oh jeez. You never know it might devalue the console making it cheaper for all.

All I can say is if you think it's a janky Bethesda game but you liked the others despite the flaws and you want to try it just know that the game is completely devoid of anything slightly interesting or fun.
The only thing this game has that's similar to Fallout or Elder Scrolls is the bugs, everything else is painfully dull. The game makes beige look like an exciting colour...

Massive difference between SEGA and MS. For a start SEGA made their own games, created new IPs and actually cared about making gaming a better industry. MS just buys up what's already there, consolidation, firing Devs and giving all the money to a handful of already extremely wealthy people.

MS is a net negative for the industry.

Can you imagine if MS spent as much time and money on gaming as they do with firing thousands of workers and consolidation? We could have had so much from their platform, instead thanks to MS gaming is lesser.

To be honest MS are very busy aiding a genocide. A million calls an hour’: Israel relying on Microsoft cloud for expansive surveillance of Palestinians

Why should MS care about gaming when it's making stacks from mass death?

All the worst review sites are scoring this low so I 100% know this is a good addition to RoboCop Rogue City.

Gonna buy this and play it later

Plagiarism is the future of gaming under MS. Worker creates, MS buys company and fires worker, MS uses fired workers work to benefit a select few already extremely wealthy people.

Everyone working in MS's gaming division needs to be in a union.

People with knowledge of MS were warning about what's happing now but it went ahead anyway so a few extremely wealthy people get another pay-out at the cost of thousands of workers.

MS has taken games from gamers and jobs from workers because of greed, they have made the entire industry a lesser place.

Oh, fanboy in a rage, what's MS being the biggest disaster in gaming history got to do with Sony?

"Sony hasn't been competing. Money hatting games and paying to keep games off of xbox is not competing, so Xbox had to purchase studios so blame that on Sony for pushing MS in that direction."

...did you just compare covering development costs for single games to $80 billion of industry consolidation? Why was MS unable to do the same as Sony...

Yeah but just think of all the huge pay outs for CEO's and shareholders that was made possible buy MS buying up the industry, cancelling games, shutting studios and firing thousands. Just think of poor people like Bobby Kotick, without MS he'd just be mega rich instead of ultra rich.

Wasn't cancelling games like Everwild worth it? If they didn't do that an already rich person might not of got a massive payday.

With MS greedily buying up the industry they failed to realise that you need to make games to attract customers not just buy companies who's games where already coming to your platform.

Three major publishers no longer competing, thousands fired, studios shut, games cancelled and nothing new on Xbox that wasn't already coming. But hey while thousands of talented devs get fired people like Bobby Kotick got even richer... What a great deal!

"Super win."

For who? The fired workforce or the gamers that can't play the games MS cancelled because they prioritised shutting down studios to make the rich richer?

“Why is no-one talking about the elephant in the room? Cough cough (Gamepass),” Colantonio wrote.

“I think Gamepass is an unsustainable model that has been increasingly damaging the industry for a decade, subsidized by MS’s ‘infinite money’, but at some point reality has to hit. I don’t think GP can co-exist with other models, they’ll either kill everyone else, or give up.”

When EA gets to call you out you truly are the biggest POS in gaming. Well at least MS's Xbox division is finally number one at something, finding new lows for the industry.
