I understand the Xbox defence coming from you but why are you complaining about negative Xbox articles being approved quickly (a couple of comments up) when I caught you ignoring articles on Xbox first party games to push through a low score on the free Silent hill title?
MS don't care, they'll just fire more devs if it doesn't sell on PS. MS aren't in the industry to make it better, they are here to buy it.
"The Sony defense force won't claim this turd as their own"
You mean the playable trailer that's meant to demonstrate Konomi's new game engine that's going to be used in Silent Hill 2. Why do you want people to claim a tech demo?
...don't make more what, free playable trailers? Why?
Just out of curiosity what made you approve this article so quick yet ignore all those ones in pending? I mean there's a great article on Avowed that was posted at a similar time but you show no interest.
"didn't stop PT from being utterly amazing."
...why did you think it would?
I'm surprised anyone is reviewing this as I didn't think it was a game, just a free tech demo with a silent hill narrative.
It could happen, but it's less likely especially since MS has their dream of restricting where a huge part of the multiplatform sector can and can't sell their games. It would just be nice to have all platforms in alignment of improving and adding to the industry instead of one who's only impact is how much they've taken away.
@InUr
Tell that to the thousands of devs that just lost their jobs.
Xbox needs to be sold to a company that is creative and cares about adding to the gaming industry like every other platform holder has. Let MS have the mobile games, that part of the industry seems to suit their practices far, far better.
You just perfectly explained why companies like MS should be broken up.
They use their financial leverage to buyout and control industries at the cost to competition, the consumer and the workforce as we've seen with the thousands of devs losing their jobs.
The only difference MS has made is job losses and limiting what platforms multiplatform publishers can and can't sell on... oh and making some very, very wealthy CEO's richer at the cost of...
Essentially they are bragging about buying a successful pre-made business then firing lots of people that helped to create the success.
You purchased a pre-made business with millions of monthly users, the only input MS has had is how many people get fired because of your buyouts and how much CEO's and shareholders will benefit.
I can't say the movies have anything other than character design... I hope the games not like the films.
I would have loved MS to stop industry consolidation, removing publishers from competitors and firing thosands of workers. Something that wouldn't be happening right now.
Also didn't MS buying Activision cause Bobby Koticks shares to rise making him far more than if he was just kicked out? ... Oh yeah it did, he has MS to thank for that massive financial win fall.
You're celebrating games you were already getting and MS's revenue increase at the cost of competion and thousands of devs jobs.... well done MS you truly are the saviour!!
@ zerer
Are you saying that Bethesda games were never coming to Xbox?!
Silly Zerrrr
I would ask you "why lie" to you, but I think it's obvious
I'll just put this here.
"Phil Spencer has claimed that if the number of Game Pass subscribers doesn’t quadruple by 2027 then Microsoft will leave the games industry.
As noted by Wccftech, Spencer was asked what would happen if they didn’t reach this goal and his answer was:
‘I can fairly safely say that if we do not make more progress than this off of console, we would exit the gaming business. If this were the outcome, we wou...
...well until 2027 as stated if their plan of buying up and banning competition from huge chunks of the the industry doesn't pay out.
Lets not forget MS has no interest in making games, just locking them away. How do I know that? They just spent $80 billion and it added nothing to the industry.
So MS purchased Bethesda, banned them from selling games on PlayStation, had two rounds of firing the devs and now they are allowing Bethesda to release games on the PlayStation again because their own platform wasn't enough to cover their greed...MS truly are the sphincter of gaming.
