The same thing was talked about in 2006 and 2 years later the landscape hasn’t changed. Limitations like everything else can be dealt with as developers are not going to move away from the 360 because of disc limitation.
PS3 exclusives have not sold as well as 360’s and to think a company now is going to “risk” investment on a console that is in 3rd place. That goes against why companies have gone from exclusive to multiplatform.

Actually consumers do buy alot of 360 games so I guess you can say they are covering both fronts. Didn't seem to be a problem last gen with PS2 when they were doing the same thing. Why the about face?
In the U.K. they seem to feel like it is the "it" console seeing how 2009 has been the sales year for the 360 beating out the Wii.
We saw the Wii and PS3 launch at the same time. We already saw what happened. If they had launched at the same time it is possible that the situation would be the same.

Infamous isn't carrying anything in the summer. The last game to carry the PS3 was MGS4. No one is buying a PS3 because of Infamous. The people who own the console are purchasing it.
You do know that they still are not making money on the PS3 right? You do know they are not selling the amount of games they want to sell to make up the difference of lost money for every PS3 sold right? So you must understand that putting the numbers into one is completly futile?
Just like it is pointless for anyone to point out the year head start that the 360 had just like the 18 month head start the PS2 had over the Xbox.

I have been saying this for a long time. The install base has been their issue. It is almost 3 years and their own exclusives don't sale as well in comparision to the way the 360's exclusives have sold. That has to do with trying to focus only on new IP's and the focus on Blu-Ray itself. Consumers are still using the PS3 for only a Blu-Ray movie player instead of getting into the games that they never cared about in the first place. Completly different this go around.
what he is saying is right. Doesn't matter what anyone thinks he is. It is words but MS continues to prove in just 2 generations where they are going and it has been a great ride for me.
Except I don't see a price drop coming this Fall now for the PS3. Not the $100 price cut everyone thinks is coming. I mean you have a PSP Go for 249 this Fall and Sony wants to put themselve people think Sony wants to put themselves in that situation with a $100 price drop on top of the fact that thye still are not making money on the PS3? This is why I don't believe until 2010 is when the price drop will come.
Your down on Year on Year sales and the games that have came out this year have yet to do what you claim now this "triple threat" is going to change the game. Now with a price drop I don't see coming this year now. Your going to launch a PSP Go for 249 this Fall and we all expect a $100 price cut for the PS3 around the same time? Yep it is getting pretty clear now that the 360/PS3 won't come out with similar sales for 2009. The 360 is going to outsell the PS3 for the year and it is possible now that the PS3 may sale less than it did for 2008.
It is funny that alot you PS3 only owners are arguing about the lineup when we all know the exclusives do not sale on the PS3. Only one game has actually sold as an exclusive quite well WITHOUT bundle and that would be MGS4 from 2008.
Once again 360 games will dominate sales for both exclusives and multiplatform games between the two systems. It has been that way since they both released and I see no reason that is going to change.
