To Spin something, is to take facts or data and turn them in a positive or negative light, doesn't nescesiraly make it right, just makes it sound better, I could easily say, oh the 360 has jumped for example 250% from last month, however it could still be getting outsold by competition.
But hey I don't really care which company outsells which, I have the consoles I want and I get to play the games this fall, and now about 500 thousand people can join me.
Spin it till you get dizzy my friend.
The way I see it...
347.2 thousand more people can now play Gears of War 2
232.4 thousand more people can now play LittleBigPlanet.
Game on amigos!
Totally dumb and impractical...but certainly cool
I actualy kinda agree with them, because, no game is ever perfect, and Littlebig does suffer from slightly sluggish controls, so thats why I would deduct a small score.
Is this just a collection of negetive things about the game from other reviews?
That's actually quite pathetic...
I was so happy that this rumor appeared to have died off, but I suppose when your list of future games is looking bleak, you have to resort to something.
Hands-on...sure.
Bummer
Only thing I would want them to change is how fast you can crawl about, it's a little too fast atm to be honest, you might as well get up and run lol.
You guys think people should share their account details with you? plus, the beta is like Warhawk, with 24hour DRM so only one user can play it per 24 hours!
I'm willing to bet more Americans got a code from the site than Europeans.
You have to make an account!:(
Come on, refresh god dammit!!
If I'm honest I would guess that they are saving trophies as a feature for the second version of the game that always comes out eg. Subsistence.
Which isn't fair on all those who bought the game in the first place, but I tend to buy the second version of MGS games all the time anyway!
Would a Service pack not have done the same job?
Oh yea I forgot, you can charge people for a "full" OS.
Love Criterion!
The thought of laying down another £300+ on a games console after spending £2000 on the current ones and equipment for them (HDTV's, games etc.) makes me cringe.
Here's a thought, stop bickering over the hardware now that it's out and concentrate on making good games for your systems. That's what sells them after all.
Ok no problem, PC crashed listening to it earlier, and I didn't bother to start again afterwards. Oh well , I enjoyed listening to Shawn, he was a clever guy and funny too.
And his leaving blog, that I think was just a total joke to wind people up (he said at the start of GFW Radio he wasn't leaving.
I enjoy their podcasts though
At times like this, people tend to spend most of their money on home entertainment goods, and will also tend to make long term investments, so when they have too make that choice this fall, I would put my money on a little thing called blu-ray being quite the decisive factor!
