Because man, it's not THAT bad. Of course it could be cheaper, but a 3.4" iPod touch with an 8GB drive is $200. This is a 9.7" device with a more fleshed out OS and 16GB of storage. Not to mention the pretty super battery it has in it. And all other tablets on the market at the minute are much more expensive and no where near as good. This is a pretty decent price point going by Apple's previous history.

Because talltony, some people just fail to comprehend the difference between this device and some netbook, so they continously compare them both, without realising that their arguement is essentially based on fail.

If people cared about N4G users opinions Sony would have shipped about 25 PS3s and the Wii would have never been allowed to make it to market.

Wait, Littlegreymen12 has used the device and is able to list a number of reasons why it's actually really good? OUTRAGEOUS!

All the haters who haven't used it but are able to reciet their little handbook of why the iPad is a fail are obviously a far more reliable opinion.

I don't think you do understand. It's not meant to be a notebook, and it's not meant to be a phone. It's the middle ground that is a little murky and unclear what exactly should go there. Tablets are not a new concept, and nobody has ever quite hit the mark like Apple has with this device. Whether you hate it or not, this device is oing to change the way we consume media, much like the iPod changed music, and the iPhone changed phones. Apple are innovators, and anybody, tech reviewer or perso...

I've actually seen it in 3D. Motorstorm aswell!

@Ziriux

I've always thought playing the games was the fun part. Not perving on random girls.

Surely not. Surely the mass nerd population of the internet who declared it fail, have already cemented its imminent downfall. /Sarcasm

So true, they'll be giving you points for every 10 seconds you survive in a game now just to make you feel like your making a valid contribution and are actually good at the game.

Because movies have been about since forever, their time of controversy has passed because it's (mainly) all been seen and done before. Games are still a relatively young entertainment medium, but once a new generation of politicans begin to enter into politics, there will be much less criticism aimed at games.

That's the kind of idiot I want to stay on CoD.

It's to do with the high amount of returns they recieve from these. It's just not wroth the hassle for them to have to deal with so many customers who applied it incorrectly and now want a refund or a replacment. The margin of profit was more than likely just not worth the trouble.

Too true. I couldn't see a God of War movie being pulled off well at all. They would totally steal the green screen style from 300 (which wasn't that great I thought) and it would just turn into a blood and gore fest, which almost certainly leads to terrible movies.

You can call them boring if you want, but at least they're intelligent, insightful, and are written to inform those reading. Not some random rubbish that is generated simply to get hits. I'm fine with HHG making his own silly articles if it makes him and others happy, but were I personally get annoyed, is when they are submitted to N4G, always given the green light by the same folk and almost always have these outrageous, controversial (not to mention mainly false) titles, which cause people ...

I kind of agree with you Death. But there's a point where inspiration does just become sheer copying, and I think this time Sony have gone and done it. I would say more that the Wii inspired Sixaxis. But it sucked.

I can take a joke, thank you very much. And while I do get the joke, two words "Kill yourself." doesn't exactly come across as the plainy obvious joke you seem to think it does, not on the internet anyway, where it's difficult to express the tone of how it was said. I'll admit I prehaps reacted a little too much, but you need to stop and think before you post up such insensitive comments in the future.

What a ridiculous comment. Seriously man, go sort out your own apparent problems before trying to offer anyone else advice.

I wonder how many stories we'll hear of this one being blamed bricking consoles, or causing someone to go blind.

I'm sure Blizzard have some clause where they can GTFO of this shi**y mess they got into. I want Activison to sink and I never want to see another CoD game in my life, but I do feel Bobby whathisface is mainly to blame for my under hatred towards them now, hes a corrupt, narrowminded, power hungry dictating a**hole.

They are barely even competeing. The 'ARC' is merely an accesory like the PS Eye, and Sony haven't made any effort to show it as anything else. Natal on the other hand is being heavily pushed almost as a relaunch of the 360 and a key part in its future.

The fact both these companies are making motion orientated devices saddens me as I think motion controls are lame and gimmicky, not to mention the fact that they will not in any way, shape or form, touch Nintendo's market dominan...
