I disagree on the rest of your post. For me, PS3 has already the best games (MGS4, Ratchet, Uncharted, Warhawk, GT5P and all the multiplatform makes the package superior to me...), but to each his own (I don't like playing 1000s of shooters either, so 360 is not for me I guess). What the articles tries to explain is that the wind has now turned... The nicest games now come on PS3 (and it will go on with LBP, resistance 2, KZ2 and so on), and suddenly it becomes 'cool' to have one... Hence the teens want one.

These are all shooters, and they can be played much better on a PC, with a mouse. And if I liked them on consoles (I don't), on PS3 I'd still have Orange box, bioshock, and soon socom, killzone 2, resistance 2 (then MAG and so on...)

The team who works on Fifa really understands football well now, and it's a real pleasure to play, especially on the latest version (UEFA Euro 2008, I'm not sure it's out in the US though ?). On this latest version the game is already quicker and more responsive, with a better camera.
