It is nice to hear a developer being honest and not being so conceded that he pretends every flaw in his game is intentional...I am sure the game will impress those looking forward to it.
RROD level already exists...I don't think 33% of the levels are RROD...yet!
There will only be Chaos!...
On topic...Maybe you are right but as I said we will never know.
I noticed when fishy makes his statement regarding this obviously flamed article, he gets 5 agrees and 0 disagrees...when you qualify his response, you get 0 agrees and 1 disagree...what gives?
I agree with you...I only own a PS3 but I think if the RROD never existed M$ would be giving the wii a good run for their money, however; I believe the only way M$ would have prevented the failure rate would have been to fix the problem which would have delayed the release and put it closer to the PS3's release or even later. If that were to have happened I believe the 360 wouldn't have done this well...Either way, I guess we will never know.
Agreed.
M$ is putting up a good fight. Anyone else with such a high failure rate would have been dead and buried long ago.
It is only the first Mario of many...You have to keep in mind that people are just getting the beta and figuring things out so it is better to get something out that other people can play then to "polish" it IMO. Otherwise you end up like me who is never happy and is constantly "tweaking" their level and never get it uploaded.
Off topic: I got Rick Rolled last night on one of the custom levels!...There is also a RROD level that I saw!
You are right...I never seem to be happy with what I have created...I think I am going to finish something just so I can upload it!
Snakebite: Hot air balloon sounds cool!
High Def
Yes it is Ruby Gloom :)
Edit 2: My daughter loves the theme....I am surprised that someone else has actually seen that show!
I am working on my map but I keep tweeking everything as I go and never seem to get enough done.
That is exactly my question...I can figure everything else except that. Also how to get it to separate individual blocks out of the main shape when the line gets cleared.
EDIT: He must have a pressure switch under every block that activates only when every switch is pressed...I didn't know you could hook up multiple switches to the same object...awesome!
Maybe it is a game for kids...Maybe I am extremely immature for loving the game...Maybe, but either way this game is incredibly well done and I haven't been so inspired by a game (let alone a beta version) in a long time...maybe ever! Call me what you want, but I am not going to let people with narrow minds deprive me of one of the greatest games I have ever played! I know I am not alone and if you think that it will be only "kids" playing this game you are very wrong. There has nev...
This game is weird...what are those things in their hand....wait, there is nothing in their hands! Where are the guns and grenades?
/end sarcasm
Edit: Drekken
Well put! Bubbles!
I am going to have to re-mortgage my house this holiday!
Looks like it.
I couldn't make out his high score in the video but now I know why he isn't very good at Daxter.
It would be cool if he were playing Grand Theft Auto.
What's amazing is that PP gets down to 2 or 3 bubbles, but then gets up to 6...How does this guy have any bubbles?
PS...R2 has split/screen Co-op campaign...it is just a separate campaign from the single player campaign.
As a PS3 owner as well, you have to give props where it is due.
The quote is from Doug, not Gabe...I hate seeing his picture.
