Hard to say it will please everybody as it is hard to put your finger on exactly why this game is sooo amazing, but this game is hard to get out of your head once you have tried the beta!
I am surprised to hear you say that. I had such a blast just with the single player trying to get 100% completion on each of the levels (still only have 100% on the first one). Then I started messing around with the online/co-op and that made it even more fun! This is all before I tried to create custom levels.
I have been playing the beta all night and I almost had to call in sick today...not because I was still playing it @ 5:30 in the am, but because I couldn't sleep due to all of the ideas running through my head. Even now as I sit at work, all I can do is think about potential levels and how make current ones better!
I don't know if or when I will sleep again.
Some of the top 5 wii games that are selling right now are beyond the 50 to 60 dollar price range (as an example)...I just saw the numbers from NPD and I can't remember the exact figures but I know that the guitar hero bundle was one of them.
Quality vs Price still seems to be important by many.
I did fork out the coin for "Shoot 'em Up", but that movie is pretty damn funny!
For once we agree! In fact, there are a lot of PS3 games you can get now that are cheaper than Blu-ray movies.

I thought you were referring to Life being a rip off of the 360 somehow, and I totally agree that Life sounds like it is similar to the wii, except for the fact that it is helping to cure diseases in the background and the weather won't be broken like the wii's is.

I did laugh at how you addressed your response, however; Let's not start all of the copying M$ has done...you originally narrowed it to the wii and M$'s long history of copying spans a lot farther than I care to rant about.
FYI Sony had a HDD as an option for the PS2 long before the XBOX was around!
You and I are in the same boat! Now that you mention it, the user created levels did load really fast...except when there were 4 other players online playing with you...at least that is what I found.
