I agree that the single player 'campaign' is shallow, but the online aspect is fantastic! With exception to the endurance, training is no where near as physically demanding as the online bouts. I am putting 10x the effort into my punches when I know there is an actual human on the other end.
My only problem with this game is that it can be tough finding someone to fight online at times since so many reviews have $hit on this game
Hey jonah, it says "sold over and over" where?
I know VGC is horribly inaccurate when it comes to their 'estimates' but how could they possibly know the "unique move customers"? Example, how do they differentiate between those who only bought the controller since they already had the PS Eye?
FAIL-TASTIC!
Tumble is pretty good, but the only game that keeps me going back is The Fight. I only wish I had the endurance to play it for more than half an hour at a time
I'm still trying to figure out what Shadow_Fox said to get hit with trolling. Unless it was just a mistake, it is looking like Odion is getting pretty liberal with the trolling label
*waits for my comment to get labeled as well*
Forgot about the nav....plenty of those in stock
None of my local stores have the stand-alone in stock...ordering online seems to be the only option for me at this point
I already had Portal as part of the Orange Box, but couldn't resist the free d/l for the mac either
Same here!
So far it is looking like the best way to game on a Mac is still through Steam.
MS is too cheap to shell out for the full length??? What's the point of giving out a tape measure that is half of the distance?
My guess is that the tape measure isn't the only thing that falls short of their expectations after they open the box
...but it has "potential", lol!
Just need to make a virtual keyboard
I stopped reading after "According to VGChartz..."
To be fair, some PS3 sites have been raping this game of it's dignity as well. I don't think it is a money issue.
All I can guess is that people who can't throw a punch in real life seem to hate this game. Maybe the problem is that the camera is off to one side a bit which can throw your aim. I aim for my camera and I can hit my target in his left nut if I want.
The accuracy seems spot on for me. I'm glad other people have been vocal about...
No kidding...apparently "Potential" is an automatic 5/10
Serious question:
Did you not enjoy it due to the physical requirement that accompanies this game?
I have found this game to be insanely fun. I also find it to be dead on accurate. I don't know if these reviewers are shi††ing on the game because they're lazy but I have a completely different experience when I am playing.
The only flaw I have with the game is the transparency (or lack there of)....which is being patched soon (apparently)
Nothing more rewarding than watching your avatar match your motion for uppercuts and landing them on screen.
it's a SOLID 7. Sure, the headtracking is broken and they need that transparency patch, but I am having a blast with it...especially due to it's accuracy!
Connecting with an uppercut just feels right!
I've only come across one 'potential' cheater. I started a fight where the guy just stood there while I wailed on him. His life meter never budged. He hit me with one punch and my gauge dropped by two thirds. I don't know if he was intentionally cheating or the game was just f'd.
I wish the rooms would show how many people were in them before you select them....I spend too much time logging into each room only to find no one.
