Its not a matter of being "out of games" its a matter of the Xbox One library of games being abysmal. I should know better, I'm a third gen Xbox user, but if you don't want a same-old same-old shooter, you're basically out of luck.
Yes! That's what I was thinking of. I know I didn't just pull that out of no where. Thanks!
There are some truly hysterical points in the game where Dinklebot says something along the lines of "I'm about to tell you some really important story stuff, oh wait, no time, never mind." Its funny because it shows a great amount of self awareness on the devs part, although I feel like just putting in more detail probably would have been better.
My issue with this idea is that other games that choose to simply not include any information at all aren't called out on this, like Dark Souls. Yes, its a pain to read up on things on the app, but I find it better than simply being obtuse and not offering any way for the player to find more information at all. Its almost like their decision to create the app in the first place (which is stupid, don't get me wrong) brought the lack of detail to people's attention more-so than if t...
Apologies for that, must have been channeling Marvel movies when I wrote that. I corrected it to Seath.
Glad you guys are having fun with it. I honestly with I was able to.
Glad I'm not the only one! Its just not jiving with me at all. I just keep thinking "I'd rather just play Mass Effect, Skyrim, and Diablo..."
The original Halo novel trilogy was stupidly good, but I never was able to finish off the next 25 novels that came after it. Same with Mass Effect. I tried, but couldn't get into it. The comics, on the other hand, I've torn through, for both series (and most of the Halo ones aren't even very good!)
I agree with what you are saying. I also had fun with Destiny, and will likely have fun with other current-gen games as well. I think the biggest issue I had with, in the case of the article, Dragon Age and Halo, was that complicated menus, a lack of explanation, crazy learning-curves, and straight-up broken interfaces have gotten in the way of "fun", particularly as of late.
The issue of releasing broken products (Halo MCC, ASSCREED Unity, etc) and fixing them wh...
You bring up some very good examples (Although I'm not sure I'd call Halo "fun", regardless of how much I love it) but yes, games like Saint's Row and Sunset Overdrive are exactly the sort of thing we need more of.
Yes, this. Absolutely.
How much time, not playing games, do you actually spend with your gf? If she's in the other room all the time then sure but I like to chill with my wife as much as possible. Plus I go to bed at like 11 cause ive got work at 8am, and you've gotta prepare and eat dinner, do laundry, pay bills, see friends, clean up after yourself, shower, and watching the Mindy Project of course.
Nah just kidding, you caught me. I hate games. Down with TZR and the gaming community as a ...
this made me fucking laugh my ass off
PUNS!
Luckily the new update is making it so that legendary engrams ONLY give you legendary items now. No more "oh good, another blue item....wooo"
I tend to go back and forth between multiplayer and single player experiences. Single player is always for the story while multiplayer is for the competition
I agree with all of this. After being pretty disappointed when I first played it, I realized last night that (at level 10) I'm really loving this game. Its cool. Its just plain cool. I really wish there was more of a grand story and narrative associated with it, but considering it to be—for now—a Cloverfield I-don't-know-anything-beca use-why-would-I-in-the-first-pl ace sort of story is helping me to enjoy everything else about it.
TZR better have a group together for...
I'm definitely interested in this game...but not sure how it'll play on a handheld.
To be clear, I was only joking in the article about them pulling the game off of other systems. I think discontinuing support of the game on these other systems would be the most likely event should this deal go down.
Yes, this. Its a real shame, because I really don't want to have to buy a PS4, but there's just nothing coming down the pipe for XB1 that is of any interest to me at all.
