I'm not 100% sure about this but I believe this article was written by the same guy who wrote about Killzone's good looks wooing too many.
"I was very tempted to flame you for saying negative about the big M, although your point is taken.
They DO have the best online service, it’s just a bit annoying that so much effort is required to get online.
But maybe that’s why it is the best, since it has such restrictions to be able to get on."
This is guy is a little late to the party. All the negative articles were supposed to be in a week ago.
That would mean the Japanese version would get delayed because it would have to wait for the US version to be released and thats not happening till the 360 version gets done.
Knowing SE its gonna be some lame announcement.
It seems like the game is going to land back at Pandemic where it started. This is of course rumors, but I'd rather they do it than Rebellion. Ideally the group that left Free Radical would continue to work on it but thats not gonnna happen so Pandemic is the next best thing.
It should be called 10 ideas to make the 360 dominate in 2009 not 10 things that will make the 360 dominate.
So I guess we'll find out in a couple months. I wouldn't mind it coming to the PS3 at all. Maybe EA will give the 360 version of the sequel a timed exclusive to keep the 360 owners happy?
I guess we'll find out soon.
Well he said that xbox gamers don't spend as much time defending their systems as playing games. I'm not going to say if thats true or not but the PS3 has to be the single most attacked system in the history of consoles. You can't blame the owners for defending a system that they own and like whether it be 360 or PS3.
and all my CC had was 10% off on games. I was looking to pick up some $30 games but if I'm only getting $3 off then no thanks.
But FEAR looks like its fun too, its just something cause I've jumped a few times in this game when I don't normally get affected by scary games at all. Like towards the end when you're walking in the movie theater. That freaked me out.
They really need to add a spoiler label cause there are somethings you might not want to know when you read the description.
I'm not gonna compare a military shooter and a horror shooter but they're both pretty good. I don't normally get scared in horror games but the demo def made me jump a few times.
I'm a huge fan of the Battlefront games so I'm crushed that Free Radical isn't making the game anymore but whoever it got handed to better build upon this. I love the bigger scale of it now, like in the Coruscant level how you can get in a fighter in the city and fly up to space. The only thing that kinda concerned me was that it kinda looked like Battlefront 2 done in a higher resolution, but hey it was only in alpha stages.
Now I'm seeing a flood of blogs/articles about how everybody is bashing Sony lol. I think there's at least 2-3 on the front page right now. But anyways, looks like Nintendo and Sony are really battling it out.
I can imagine walking in and saying you want to pick up Killzone 2. They'll probably be like whats Killzone 2? And then check to see if they have copies when there's a cabinet full of copies right behind him. Or convince you to buy a 360 game instead.
I'm expecting to hear some Gamestop stories when it comes out. Fortunately all the Gamestops near me have professional staff that don't question my buying decisions. Not that I go to GS much anyways.
According to the article this tech will be outdated when Sony themselves come out with something better they've been working on.
I don't have MGS4 but I played the demo for MGO and it was really fun...when I could connect that is. In the demo though you can play using your PSN account which made it a lot more streamlined from what I hear. I don't know who thought having a separate profile would be a good idea.
Would make one think that Microsoft doesn't care...
I don't think I'm missing out on much with these SE JRPG's yet so I can't say I feel jealous.
Has there ever been a great video game movie? I can't think of any of the top of my head.
