I will be buying R.U.S.E. for the PS3, but in order for me to even consider shelling out a $120 for MOVE I will first have to not be satisifed with the regular controller, and second will have to think R.U.S.E. is a high qaulity enough game to justify spending a $120 on Move.
Ubisoft thinks the PS3/360 controllers will surprise a lot of people in how well they work with R.U.S.E. So right now I am just planning on using the regular PS3 controller.
WOTS3 was actually released in Oct 2009. So this list is really messed up as it cann't be on the worse list of 2010 since it was release din Oct 2009.
I agree the game was pretty bad, but there have certainly been a lot worse games I have played this Gen.
Twizlex discs are not going anywhere no matter how much people want it to happen. Consoles gamers still deman, and expect discs with there games, and that isn't going to change for a very long time.
Vojkan Sony has never shipped a new console with the same disk drive as the previous one.
PS1-CD
PS2-DVD
PS3-Blu-Ray
PS4-New Laser tech 20 times better then Blu-Ray
Of course this means there is no way we will see the PS4 before 2013, and probably a good chance we won't see it til 2014
The best way to get that sorted out is just to buy the PS3/360 version so you don't have to worry about all the problems associated with PC gaming.
Actually it shouldn't be on the PC. All games should be on Consoles, and PC gaming should be a thing of the past.
The only reason I am interested in the game is because it is on a console. I hate PC gaming, and at the point where I refuse to play PC games ebcause of all the problems.
Letros there is no DRM on consoles. So purchase the game for the PS3 or 360.
I haven't played the game yet since I only play consoles games, but as far as I am concerned I will usually trade depth for playability. Though games should be simple to play, and yet hard to master.
The only think Namco, and Codemasters would accomplish with this strategy is to destroy there themselves. There reputations would be shot with most gamers, and it would kill sales of there future games.
Its all because of Tiger Woods. A game simply does NOT lose over 2/3 of its sales in one freaking year. This has EVERYTHING to do with Tiger Woods.
Focker it won't fail in the long run, but it won't become mainsteam near as fast as you think. Its going to be an extremely long time before 3DTV's become mainstream. Were talking 6 or 7 years.
I am going to buy R.U.S.E. no matter what(the only game I am interested in before Nov). It was built from the groundup to work with console controllers so I am sure DS controoler will be decent.
I cann't see myself biting on the Move controller until they have a $100 bundle that includes the Navigator Controller.
Apparantly you need the Navigator Controller for Move to actually work good.
The only current bundle is the $100 Sports Champions bun...
So yes it is a HUGE deal.
If this was a full length, hardcore game then I would be really interested, but this will be no more then a casual mini game; all flash and no substance. So I have NO interest at all in it.
In fact I doubt we will even see high quality, hardcore, motion controlled games before 2012. Probably won't be til 2012 before developers have the experience, resources, and time to deliver high quality, hardcore, motion controlled games.
If this was consoles gamers only I am sure you would see 80% choosing physical discs.
Nobody wants a crappy Modern Setting. The whole point of the AC series is the Epic Historical Settings. If Ubisoft is ever stupid enough to do a AC game set in a modern setting then they will lose a lot of sales including mine. I wouldn't touch a game in a modern setting with a 10 foot pole
Last year Ubisoft actually had discussions about AC3 being set in WWII, and said it was a option.

Rediculous I guess some of you are total graphic whores. Never thought I would see the day when people actually thought a game should be sold for more then $60 because of the graphics in a few screenshots. Gaming is dying because of gamers like you.
This is my 2nd most anticipated game of 2010 behind AC: Brotherhood
Its certainly NOT more of the same that is why I am so excited. Looks like the AC franchise will finally fulfill its potential AC: Crotherhood will have deep strategy gameplay elements, and massive city building. They are really taking the game to a whole new level. Brotherhood is actually far more of a sequel then AC2 was as far as gameplay and innovation go.
Also they are suppose to fix the game breaking AI from AC2 which really ruuned AC2.
The Wii was doomed from the start because of outdated, crappy hardware, and also because RTS does NOT appeal to the kiddy, casual demographic of Nintendo consoles.
You must have been pretty naive if you ever thought the Wii would do anything for RTS games at all. RTS games simply have to much going for the crappy Wii hardware to be able handle it, and on top of that the casual, kiddy demographics of Nintendo consoles insured developers weren't even bother trying anyway. <...
