They do understand. The problem is they cann't do anything about it.
There reputation of 3rd party games not selling on there consoles, and of Nintendo console owners not wanting 3rd party games is so well established, and entrench edthat it is impossible for Nintendo to get even decent 3rd party support.

I have completely given up on Nintendo I cann't see a secnario where I would buy it. I have ZERO interest in there 1st party franchises(could care less abourt Zelda, Metriod, Mario or anything else they make), and there 3rd party support has been garbage for three straight generations despite being the market leader this generation. Thats something that is not going to change.
As far as video games consoles go competition is NOT awlays good. 4 consoles is just too many, and it divides the market too much. It would NOT be good for either the industry or for gamers.
I totally disagree with this article. The only thing I care about is games. If PSN is the centerpiece of Sony's E3 conference it is going to be a very boring conference, and a disaster.
4 consoles would not be good for the market. Unless either Sony or MS leaves it would not at all be a good idea for apple to enter the market.
You must be living under a rock them. I have no interest at all in Brink(hope it flops hard), and I have heard plenty about it.
Again if you are gamer there is really no excuse at all to not know what is coming out. Is this day and age their is simply no excuse for not being informed.
Heck if nothing else you should be checking the release dates regularly on Gamestop's website. Which is one of the main ways I make sure i dont miss anything I might wan...

The epic historial settings are the only reason to play the games. Without it the AC franchise would be totally worthless. It is the main selling point of AC.

The triology went out the window with Brotherhood. Those plans were shleved after the sales of AC1, and AC2, and UBisoft has said they hope to turn AC into a yearly franchise.

This is the good news about the PSN problem. I believe all game should be released on disks. If your game is not released on a disk I won't even consider buying it.
So hopefully here is a positive to come out of this after all, and more developers decide to just stick to retail releases.
Everybody has their own tastes in what they like. I could care less about most of the big name games as I have no interest in them.
Here are my top 5 games I hope to see at E3.

No the games will win out. Most real gamers could care less about the new Nintendo console.
In reality there are only 2 console companies Sony, and MS. Nintendo is dead as far as most of us are concerned.
I have zero interest in the new Nintendo console. In fact I dont have any interest in Nintendo at all. They might as well not exist as far as I am concerned.
Yea actually most of the games are revealed in the month leading upto E3. So either next week or the week after we should start to see the floodgates open with tons of new games announced or revealed.
I guess you never heard of the saying that all things come to an end. I expect a MAJOR decline in sales in the COD franchise this year.
Doesn't matter if we want it or not. All Next Gen systems will have it standard, and we will be forced to use it.
They won't be getting any attention from me or most other hardcore gamers. We have totally, and completely given up on Nintendo.
