The problem with gt5 is that it was built on a modified version of of gt3 (gtHD) and development for ps3 change drastically about a year before gt5's release with SPEs doing graphical processing and also MLAA.
If Kaz decide to drop the hole 1080 rez and goes for 720 and MLAA and actually takes advantage of the SPEs, depending of how much the engine has to be reworked it could take some time. We'll see.
I don't understand why people NEEDS to have psn the same as xbl why not accept that psn is different and take it as it is FREE online gaming. Keep in mind that on xbl if you don't pay you can only enjoy half of your game. A game you paid full price for.
When put in to perspective cgc is a small price to pay for online play for free. Besides you can always call your friends on the phone or use massages, open a chat room on psn or a million other alternatives on pc whil...

This are definitely in game (blocky palmtrees) shots, but i agree that AA is way to clean, especially the wires where usually jaggies would be very evident, so ill wait and see.

I totally agree with Nathan. This game is all about the experience not exploration and whatnot. Besides i think open world games are overrated and in my opinion boring. The only game that's open world and i liked was inFamous and i never went wondering and messing around or anything like that.
I like games that have a story, a meaning, a purpose if you will, and have a nice flow or transition between events. Sending me off to mess around in the world always kills the paci...

Touch screen was made for Play Create Share no doubt. If you could use a stylus with the vita it'll be awesome.

If it wasn't for sony putting a second analog stick on the controller halo (and alot of other games) wouldn't exist. So whats the point. If bungie didn't do it someone else would.
not to mention the possibility of standardizing there hardware so devs can focus on it and optimizing the games for a system like this. I think it's a very plausible option.
What about trophy support and 3D? Can the emulator do that? Enjoy your pc's and stop trying to shove it down peoples throats.
Although i admit that having split memory was a stupid move from sony there's just more factors that influence crapy software on ps3. For one devs are trained on pc which architecture is very different from consoles, which is the reason why i don't understand pc elitist comparing them with old GPU's but anyway.
Most devs are too used to just calling DX libraries on there code and the biggest thing for me is that MS spoil them with there sdk tools and sony doesn...

And that is exactly why 360 and live is so popular in the US. If you don't have one your not "in". That's what MS wanted in the first place, getting celebrities on there E3 to make it seem "cool" to game on xbox.

I'm a pc gamer too but I'm not blind to reality. A good enough Vidcard will set you back $200+ and newer games need good CPU's as well so that's another $100+ not to mention PSU and cooling, so yeah.

That's for sure. GT5 had a hate campaign that was beyond anything i could imagine.
One of the beauties of GT5 is that you can get your real life car and drive it and upgrade it (since there are so many cars) as well as cars you will never be able to drive in reality.
PS3 have been running multiplat games on a single core and no spe codding which are made for the 360s 3 cores, and ppl still think the 360 is as powerful as the PS3.
One of the things ppl never say is that they play on xbl because they have to. When i had live gold everyday i didn't play online i felt like i was throwing my money away. While on psn i go online when i want to IF i want to.
I honestly believe that this fanboy BS started with MS and the way they promoted their console and games on E3 shows. I still remember the way Michael Moore promoted and reveal Halo 3 mocking "the competition" back in 2004s E3.
