The move works great for me. I always loved KZ, but was never one to be in the top 3 consistently. Since I've used the Move, my accuracy and confidence have shot through the roof. There's no going back for me, and I can't wait to see if the sharp shooter attachment yields even better results.
I haven't commented on n4g in months because of how trite and pointless all the arguing seems. This whole "pc vs console" argument has riled up enough to drag me back into the stink.
My main problem is this: I have serious misgivings about gaming on a pc in general.
Every pc that I have owned as eventually come down to a ticking timebomb. Something always comes up that renders my pc un- usable in the end. I have come to terms with the fact t...
What a bunch of losers.
I knew from the start that it would not be for your typical games. I even knew that kinect was not created to enhance gaming, or take it to the next logical level. Kinect will cater to a very niche crowd - probably families or little kids because of its simplified interface and lack of buttons. Much like the wii it will give you the illusion that you are actually doing something.
No matter; as long as they continue to put out real games as opposed to game-like experiences, th...
Kinect's success: This thing is certain to sell a crapload.
Kinect's failure: Providing an hardcore experience for a hardcore audience.
All the hyperbole in the world will not erase the fact that kinect has serious limitations when it comes to the types of games that my peers and I want to play. I'm 37 years old. Been gaming for two decades. "Hard-core" this is not. This will provide light entertainment along the lines of a wii but will...
All this debate...
I really don't see why people get so worked up over ms and sony's numbers. I don't see the relevance in your individual lives, nor do I see why you would even care one iota what they sold. How is any of this enriching your lives? Does it make your e-peen any bigger? All this bickering only indicates that you are not content enough with your console to not care about trivial numbers such as what the other guy sold.
The title of this made me chuckle. That's like asking where is the republic of Guam's space program?... Does not compute.
I've got my two moves, and a nav controller and It's working out very well for the wife and I.
Looks like someone has alot of time on his hands.
Why don't you put that energy into writing a book instead of posting mile long forum rants?
Look, go spend your milk money on that crappy peripheral if you like. No one will stop you. Jump around in your underoos playing those silly games for all I care. It doesn't change the fact that while it might indeed work for certain games, it will never work for the type of games that the big boys want to play.
My first purchase of kinect anything will be when it is included as a part of the next ms console. Until that time , it is a no go for me and many other adult 360...
Not really a well written post at all and I don't really believe in what he wrote. Most suspicious was his intent to buy a kinect in the first place.
Is anyone over 9 really excited for this thing?
Just a request...
If you are in the beta, please post on the official forums and let them know what needs to be addressed. I don't want to hear the extreme level of bitching that kz2 had about issues that should have been addressed in the beta stage. I don't really want to play the beta, I'd rather wait for the final product. Just do your part to make it stand out.
Over on the neogaf forums, they are really up in arms about the current state of the beta. ...
...because I have Halo's and Killzone's in my game collection and NO COD's. I hate that franchise. Skate shooting at its best.
Pics or it didn't happen.
As of now I won't believe anything about kinect until it is in the consumer's hands.
For devs with such a solid track record, I'm not worried one bit.
Killzone 3 is already out? /s
I am excite.
Alli need to know is if it will be available in the US.
The hardware is on point, but as can be expected, the early games are not going to be too impressive. I already have a ps-eye so I will certainly have my move setup in place before killzone 3 drops. Looking forward to what the future games will shape up to be.
I really hope that GG doesn't listen to a word that any of you are saying. The insessant whining and complaining were the reasons that GG messed around with a good thing with KZ2.
I love the beta as is. I'd hate it of they went off and meddled with the present mechanics.
