Most of ms games have way more dlc or mtx than sony games. GT Sport has been supported incredibly since launch and they are not charging for their dlc. Thats where ms is different and gaas is what they want in the end. Long term payments for games they put for free on gamespass to make up the money they lose in terms of sales for the games. ms wont release actual sales numbers for their games so Spencer saying it sold more means nothing without actual numbers. they spin gamepass numbers into anything they want. thats why they stopped reporting sales and maus. Easy to say ‘3 million people played gears 5 on the opening weekend’ and then think sheep will eat it up as sales when most of it was propably gamepass on the cheap trials or actual subs. what else is he supposed to say? I cant see it doing much for the hardware brand but for people looking to sub on the cheap it seems to be working. correct father merrin. Spencer putting there games on pc was a dumb move because it immediately devalued the prospect of buying the console and had every critic come out and say ‘well no need to buy an xbox’. that in itself was the worst move ms has made in terms of helping push their console. Exclusives should be only playable on the system they were made for to push the hardware and install base as well as properly support the platform. With all of Sonys success this gen I just dont get why...
PS5 will dominate for Sony just like this gen. The fact that PS4 games will be BC is just the icing on the cake.

MS deciding to keep putting there games on pc will continue to cannibalize their own sales. Sony will dominate again and possibly even more than this gen. The PS5 will propably win the price battle and Sonys exclusives will once again sell themselves and drive console sales thru the roof. The fact MS cant seem to grasp that games sell consoles along with putting the few games they have on pc shows they continue to be clueless.
