that would be awesome and having ss od 2 exlusive on PS5 now would be sweet. A big loss for ms cuz insomniac came to them twice asking to green light the sequel and ms blew them off basically. stupid move by ms who desperately needed new games and still does. Would also love to see them remaster the Resistance Trilogy in 4k or make a 4th game.
yeah Phil is touting the most powerful console with the series x so its already been pushed by the head of xbox himself. could be damage control by this dude to definitely keep peoples expectations realistic. Especially since they dont know what Sony has spec wise on the PS5. It would blow up in there face if the PS5 has the power edge after Phil made his initial claim.

Their exclusives and their appeal globally are what always gives them the edge. Buying Insomniac was a great move as well and added a proven AAA studio to there stable.
exactly....giving there few games they have away and devaluing them even more. It makes NO sense at all and i cant see why Spencer thinks its good for them. They could put older games and others but keep exclusives off for at least a year or two so there is incentive to buy them. It was bad enough he put there exclusives all on pc already. Power didnt do anything for ms when the X came out. As a matter of fact the PS4 sold even more from that point on so the gap widened. Having great games is what matters. The new systems will both have plenty of power but it is what the respective devs will be able to create that will determine which is superior. Sonys 1st party are unreal and adding Insomniac was huge as they are a legit AAA studio. MS will do better next gen im sure but they need to create new AAA games and ips not just gp f...

how about actual sales??? just another way for ms to,spin numbers. im sorry but its true. yes that sounds great but its not as clear and precise as how many actually bought and supported the game and devs. Gamespass is great for ms to skew numbers and say things like this. Not anywhere near actual sales or concrete evidence the game made money. A $2 sub to try the game by people does not come anywhere near what could have been made if they actually pushed sales as opposed to playing a game on...
I think it will be $449 while the Series X will be $549. Just my guess.
With how good PS4 games looked this gen I can only imagine what Sonys devs will be able to do with the PS5. Gonna be eyemelting for sure. Cant wait!
