Because MS with all their money are still to lazy and not creative enough to build solid new IP. Easier for them to buy up publishers with established IP and then throw them on gamepass to keep,subs coming in. Lazy and easy way out for them and shows they simply cant and have no desire to even try to make new games. Pathetic. Hope this deal falls flat on their face and forces them to use the studios they have already bought and actually build some new games that are worthwhile.
Honestly, it just means more money for them by supporting PS4 consoles and its huge install base with new games. Doesn’t make it any better for people wanting PS5 optimized games though.
