Dude neither of the fable titles has broken 4 million.. Fable 2 was closest with 3.77 million copies despite being a pack in title with the arcade bundle. Fable 1 is far less with 2.56 million units.. Uncharted 2 is sitting at 3.68 million units... Now if gt5 prologue can sell 5.5 million copies with a quarter of the user base as the ps2 then how do you see sales of gt5 being so low? You are making baseless speculations and providing no evidence to support them.... Try again troll...
Nothing he said indicated that halo wasn't popular outside of the us with the exception of japan... He just stated that racers are more popular in europe then shooters ala f1 2010 knocking halo off only after a few weeks... Yes europe, especially uk, likes shooters but the popularity of racers is a few notches higher.. Gt5 will dominate europe and japan with solid sales in the states... Period.
No they really aren't indicative of final sales.. Ps3 owners generally dont pre-order alot of games but yet the sales of ps3 titles are still respectable in most situations and some games defy the odds.. Just look at gt prologue selling 5 million worldwide outselling alot of high caliber 360 exclusives... Sony titles have always sold strong and over long periods of time.. Gt5 will be no different, Expect gt5 sells to break 2 million by the end of the year easily...
Here we go with half truths and misleading statements... First of all uncharted 2 sold 3.68 million where as fable 1 is only at 2.59 so you were wrong in that instance..
Now fable 2, which was a pack in for the original arcade bundle, is siting at 3.77 million so its barely ahead of uncharted and well within that margin of error.. Take your fanboy goggles off...
Why are gt5 pre-orders so low? Umm maybe because october is weighted down with new releases every week?

Regardless pre-orders are hardly indicative of sales, pre-orders only serve to induce speculation.....
I hate these sales games.. When did 3 million become a failure???? By my calculations sony has made 130 million dollars off of this one title alone ins 7 months!!! Not only are they waayyyyy in the black every copy sold from here on out is spare revenue for sony to invest into new games and tech..... Sigh I dont know when 5+million copies became the standard....

After sony released their official numbers back at e3 stating they had sold 38 million units worldwide and vgchartz was tracking 36 million as recent as september vgchartz lost alll credibility.. Completely inexcusible.. I cant wait for sony's end of quarter sales coming this month so we can see how far off vgchartz still is...

My point was that nintendo did NOT get motion controls right.. If they had then they wouldnt have released wii motion plus. Also if the wii's audience was truly satisfied with "motion controls done right" they wouldnt have any need to look at a move... But move is selling very well.. Dude I typed in every variation of the move and kinect I could and abbreiviating ps move is you weighting the results.. The "correct" terms are playstation move and microsoft kinect period.. I place 4th or 3rd alot.. Has nothing to do with my enjoyment.. I dont like the stalk mechanic in this game.. I dont enjoy playing a game Where I have no idea where my attacker is but they know where I am.. Its pretty rediculous.....

I did.. I typed playstation move, microsoft kinect and the results were clear.. Kinect garnered a good amount of attention around e3 but dropped off and flat lined for the res of the chart.. Move had a mini spike at e3 and in the september timeline had a huge spike, triple that of the spike it gained during e3.. I tried linking the page but it wont work so I invite you to try it and type exactly what I typed in.....
@meisadragon Where do you get 2billion? Sony spent 500 million on the production of the cell and blu-ray was a collaborative project meaning sony didnt foot the entire bill... But the ps3's obvious sweet spot was 300 seeing as sales shot up exponentially at that point and continue to do really well.. But yes I will put money on sony using the cell in the ps4 seeing as how incredibly powerful it is but I also feel they will revise the gpu set up...

Ok your entire comment was one sided.. Its clear you are biased against the ps3 and sony.. You call out sony fans while leaving the 360 fans untouched... There are guilty parties on both sides.. But you claim that sony wasnt prepared to lose money yet the launch model ps3's sold at a 200 dollar loss on each unit... So you contradicted yourself.. Also the ps3 has been narrowing the gap between it and the 360 so a pass is not out of the cards... Will it happen soon? Not likely maybe in the ...
I dunno I have the ps3 version and I would give it an 8... It took me some time to get used to the multiplayer but before long I was racking up kills.. My favorite mode is the one where a team defends while the other team attacks.. Its alot of fun and the game feels a little more balanced then modern warfare 2 was....
