While the game is made by dice and it has the frostbite engine just like bfbc2 it still manages to obtain its own identity.. Sound wise this game has no parrallel but the controls are tight and the tension and adrenaline rush that you get running from cover to cover trying to flank or gain a better vantage point while bullets zing around you and explosions echo all around is just something to behold... I dont know I like this better then bfbc2 to be honest.
Well did you ever stop to think that they dont have enough room for all of the plus subscribers?? Beta's are tests to see how the servers perform and if the game has any bugs so they aren't going to innundate the servers just because you feel "entitled" to the beta.... I've already in the assassins creed beta and have a whole slew of content so the kz3 beta is just icing...
I've experienced very little lag.. Runs like butter. Aside from a couple of disconnects the first night I really haven't encountered any stability issues...
Multiplayer is far less glitchy and broken the modern warfare 2... Trust me plus there aren't any perks so you dont have to worry about someone dominating a match because they get the chopper gunner or something stupid like that... This game requires aloooooot of tactical awareness.. It seems to me that the only people complaining are the cod fanatics.. Ohh well have fun with modern warfare 3 errr I mean black ops.....
I'm really liking it.. It does seem to have an issue with people taking alot of shots before dying.. Other then that little annoyance I'm having a ball.. Play3d like 6 hours tonight.. I will say one thing, the sound effects in this game are unmatched..

I have this really funny feeling that sony is going to release gt5 the tuesday before black friday.. Why you ask, well for starters its(black friday) the busiest shopping day of the year. Secondly I'm sure they are planning some ps3/hdtv bundles for cheap and what better game to christen a shiny new ps3 then gt5...
Its not trickerey, they clearly outlined the methods of getting into the beta.. It's a win-win the hardcore killzone fans get a chance to get into the beta without having to rely on luck of the draw and it in turn helps drive up subscriptions of ps+ why do you have to be so negative about such an awesome event???

Totally agree biggcman... That is a beautiful, elegant, simple design that looks like something sony would make.. Its perfect and I seriously hope this is what the psp2 is like....
I disagreed because this is a marketing decision and not a quality control issue... They are trying to distance themselves from cod black ops.. With all of the high caliber games coming out they probably feel that releasing on november 2nd will hurt sales...
How much are you willing to bet they are aiming at for the black friday shopping week?? Not only does this allow them to seperate themselves from cod and every other game coming out in the next 4 weeks but its also the busiest shopping week of the year.. It's safe to assume this was a marketing decision and nothing to do with the game itself....
Did you even read the article? They stated that it's still releasing this holiday season just not november 2nd. I'm willing to bet this is the call of duty effect.. Since north america and europe are obsessed with COD sony probably made the decision to push gt5 a couple of weeks and give it some breathing room.. Something tells me that this has something to do with the relatively low north american preorders which stems from such a heavy release schedule this month and next.. They are probably trying to make room for the god of war psp bundle and ghost of sparta to be succesful as well.. Hmm this is disheartening yet relief at the same time... I really want this game now but at the same time I'm going broke buying all of these awesome games... Bittersweet.
The psp also has features that the ds doesn't contain.. I'd be shocked if sony charged more the 249 for the psp2.. Thats the price they've sold the psp1000, 2000, 3000, and go for new....

Just like the iPhone if not for the 99 dollar deal to get it on contract then it would haven failed miserably.. Is it worth 300? Very subjective because value is percieved not given.. But at the same time 300 is the mass market price of the hd consoles so I dont see the mass market buying up 3ds' in droves at that price..
Screen tear is when parts of two different frames are being displayed at the same time.. Most of the time screen tear occurs due to the refresh rates of the system and the tv not matching.. More often then not just playing with your tvs video settings and the console's video settings can reduce the presence of screen tearing.. You would only see screen tearing in an image like this if it was shot with a camera off screen at the exact right moment... If you do a screen capture via software...
If tech dies then why do I have a still working super nintendo a 5 year old hd tv a 4 year old ps3 and a 6 year old cell phone?? Look harware failures do happen but as frequently as the 360 fails??? Give me a break i'm surprised the sec hasnt climbed all over microsoft for it....
