Ok the widely accepted number is there was a gap of 8 million between the ps3 and 360. So now that the gap is only 5 million means sony has made up 3 million in 4 years time. No matter how you spindoctor these fact it pays homage to how well sony is doing. A year from now we'll be arguing a 4 million gap but at the end of the day sony is running down microsoft and doing it honestly.. PERIOD.
This is news because the sheer amount of data in one scene eclipses those games. Killzone 2 was a technical showpiece and the trade off was we had to wait for it to load. Yes install base means that developers will make games for that console but at this point both systems have broken that magical barrier that dictates who gets what. From now on sales are irrelevant except for people who think this is a race. Both systems have huge install bases and that means the games will come. Whether one outsells the other is all just politics now. Nothing else.

Microsoft is allowing data transfer but its capped at 16 gigs. Convienent considering they are selling their new 16 usb flash drives at 60 bucks a piece twice as much as any other brand. But yes you can use external memory to transfer saved datat.. Aside from those I havent heard of anything else.
You do realize that mgs4 used up 40 gigs of space on a dual layer blu ray right? At 8 gigs you would need 5 discs. I find it laughable how people justify having multiple discs but they slammed the fact that there are 4 seperate temporary installs with mgs4 on the ps3.. Sounds a bit hypocritical..

Microsoft has claimed every new iteration of the 360 has solved the issues but ever iteration continues to have the same issued. Granted they have a smaller percentage but the fact remains that microsoft cannot solve the problems of their design. I, as most other ps3 users, could care less if the ps3 finishes first,second, or 23rd. You nor Now gamer have obviously ever played frisbee golf, the slightest deviation in angle as you release the disc will cause the inflight path of the disc to alter. If the outside edge of the disc is angled down when you release then the disc will "arc" away from you. Up and the disc will arc in the opposite direction.. Agreed. I'm soo pissed that they took all of that money from the launch of modern warfare 2 and instead of upgrading the servers and matchmaking systems they continue to use the outdated and laggy server hosting. I can only play mw2 between the hours of 9pm and 6am without lag and server connection timeouts and all of those other issues.. Its so annoying to have full signal strength yet I continue to lag in game which causes my KDR to drop significantly. Activision will get no more money ...
