New 3DS XL is $219.99. If I were shopping for a 3DS XL and saw Switch for only $80 more, I would personally buy the Nintendo Switch. Now 2DS is another story. That is at a $89.99 price point and it's obviously going to continue to sell at that low price.

Nintendo Switch will be a return to form for Nintendo. The way Reggie seems confident about their 2018 and 2019 software "delivering" tells me Nintendo is going to bring the heat. I think they understand what franchises need to be released on Switch or it will be a hard sell for Nintendo fans as well as interested ex-Nintendo fans.
What Nintendo did was display in my opinion perfectly that Switch is a hybrid console for everyone, anytime and anywhere. Why limit their business? But the 30 second Super Bowl clip millions will see is all about Zelda and the way core gamers will use it anyway.
I agree, seeing Death Mountain in the draw distance at the start of Breath Of The Wild is all I need to let my imagination run.....well....wild...lol. Knowing how I will need to be stronger/experienced by the time I'm ready to go there is really all I need. Gosh I love Zelda games. Look how beautiful this game looks:
