With Smash Bros. already confirmed, I am obviously going to be paying. I hope the features are decent at launch.
His name is Microsoft! lol
Go Switch!! :)
I'm glad it is coming to 3DS since Dark Moon did so well (the best selling entry in the franchise). Like this states...why not "take all our money Nintendo?" and put it on both. ;p
Lockdown? lol
I understand that but look at Captain Toad. They downgraded it for 3DS but it's marketed to be essentially the same game coming to Switch. Luigi's Mansion deserves an upgrade but the GameCube version still looks better than the "remake" on 3DS. I know it's not a remaster but in 2018....it's an odd call. I can't wait to see what The World Ends With You will look like on Switch with new HD visuals coming from the DS. Maybe then will some see the lost potential here...
When your hard drives eventually go nuts guess what?..... we'll still be playing our physical games. LMAO :)
(I thought about responding in an intelligent way to the most silly question that is second only to that other silly question: are consoles dying? LMAO)
Hopefully it will be worth the wait. Nintendo stated that some classic games might have updated online features. I hope that is why. Has Nintendo said anything concrete on GameCube games?
They have only confirmed NES games so far but here is what they said:
"Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will have ongoing access to a library of classic games with added online play. Users can play as many of the games as they want, as often as they like, as long...
Nintendo art is just classic. Even Splatoon is becoming iconic.
He's still one of Nintendo's youngest top game directors. I bet they will do whatever to keep him happy and at Nintendo until he reaches true retirement age. Look at Miyamoto...the legend of the legends...that man is never leaving....lol.
Ridley is one of the best bosses ever! I need more Metroid in my life! :)
I've never played a Crash but have seen that freakin' gnarley looking (in a good way) first level so many times...lol. I watch and read a lot about gaming history. I'll definitely play this from history alone.
The last Smash was 2014. He stated he was tired in Dec. 2014. He could of taken an entire year vacation and still had three years this September to work on this. Time has went fast but it will be 4 years this September.
Here is an excerpt from an interesting article about how long he takes to make just one character:
"I get the planning for each character done remarkably quickly. For example, after learning about Greninja and its abilities one evening, by late night I had already completed the design for that character’s moves and features.”
“The process, however, of actually creating a character often takes well over a year, where we are constantly working on the m...
Nintendo could of said release date TBA....but they stated 2018. 2018 is written where you can clearly see it on the official website without even clicking on the trailer. It's coming this year. :) I bet Nintendo have been working on this for at least 2-3 years already.
An ARMS character: Spring Man! I also want Cappy (a Mario ability to throw).....
Pure salt...lol.....with a side of ocean water to wash it down with. ;p
I understand about the character copyrights, it's just if this game was a straight port all those things would be listed already. Just sayin'... I mean, wouldn't the same characters be in it? Tells me that a new roster is coming. A new game is coming...lol
*but I'm just speculating* ;p
We can see why Switch sold so much, great games!!!
I agree, that willingness to pay is most likely based on the popularity of Splatoon 2, Smash. Bros. and Mario Kart for the majority. Hopefully the online is more robust for these games. My hope is by the time a game like Mario Kart 9 is released, we will be impressed by how greatly the online features have expanded since Mario Kart 8 on Wii U. That expansion (of features) should start with Smash Bros. (Switch) and updates for Splatoon 2 this holiday.
To be able to play the ...
