Look at the success of Xenoblade 2 on Switch! It was phenomenal. Sold over a million from December 1, 2017 through December 31st 2017 alone. I'm sure that shocked everyone at Nintendo. it shocked the heck outta me. Who knows what can happen for Bayonetta 3.

I agree. There is really no excuse for not rewarding awesome prizes. If you go to Nintendo World in NYC, there is a plethora of really cool Nintendo merch and gifts. Obviously mass produced (outsourced through other companies) because many items you can also find online or in other stores. Why can't those things be rewarded? It used to be super rare, limited rewards. Now it's nothing...lol.
