Well against Microsoft yes they have, but too early to call against Sony. Now in terms of first party published software sales, these two titles will probably put Nintendo over the top this year publisher wise. Hardware sales against Sony will most likely be neck to neck closing out what looks to be another strong year for those two.

They have said SNES, but I don't think they have said any other systems. I see this getting expanded with more systems (it better). At first I was bummed about NES games only....but thinking about how crisp they will look on the Switch screen now in HD...and they are virtually "free"..I can calm my impatience......for now....lol. I really want GameCube, N64 and Wii titles like everyone else.

I specifically said first party. Smash Bros. will sell like TLOU2 (7-10 million within months of release) and Pokemon will sell like 10 million+ in a matter of weeks though the holiday. What else does Sony have to balance out Pokemon? Nintendo has so many titles outside of those two that will add up quickly as well.
Everyone knows RDR2 is going to be massive as well though.
