My question is how do you play Super Mario bros. 3 online? New Co-op or take turns watching a friend play? Or just local? Well I can't wait to see Nintendo fans photo shop this image with other classic games they haven't announced. Like Super Mario Sunshine. sigh. ;p
Expect the honest truth coming from Nintendo fans feedback. Nobody is going to accept anything less than solid. The more we grumble, the better it will become. It's not free...lol.
As long as the Switch version is just as fun, I don't care. And don't speak too soon. Don't let the Switch version be playable and the PS4 Pro version be a buggy, broken mess. Reserve your naysaying to after the game launches on PS4 Pro...lol.
There is always going to be a better version. Like SPTMN said, PC will be superior to all. Then one day they will remaster the remaster in 8K....lmao. But if all the versions offer the same FUN....and are not broken....why does it even matter?
Like I said, NINTENDO NES SAVED THE HOME CONSOLE MARKET. Go to any gaming history video on Youtube and let all the industry icons tell you what I just said! lmfao
I meant "you" as in general. And to make my point I bought into the hype and success of PS2...my first of many Sony platforms I have bought....but my GameCube was sitting right beside it. And I loved GameCube more in my humble personal opinion. I also played GBA and eventually PSP/DS during that same time frame before the PS3 and Wii era started. I didn't stop playing Nintendo because I bought a PlayStation. Clearly, many in Japan and America didn't as well. ;p
Corrections noted..Wii and PS2 in North America are still pretty close though. PS2 as you showed has edged it out. But in Japan...the PS2 and NES sold about the same. And rightfully so as they both made huge impacts in the home console market with those platforms. I am not stating these numbers to take away anything from Sony's massive success in the home market with PS2 and the success they had with the PSP in the handheld market. I am showing that Nintendo platforms dominate any hardwar...
Nice breakdown but look at my post when I broke it down by the top selling by region. Europe is where Sony gets ahead in the home console market. But my post proves that Nintendo hardware in general are in most Japanese and American homes since the 80's.
@razzer
Thanks to third party games. If Nintendo had Grand Theft Auto well Sony wouldn't even be in the running. In fact the one time Nintendo had Grand Theft Auto, that platform sold as much as the PS2....the DS....haha. Now you made me do it and this will be crystal clear why Nintendo is clearly the top dog in total hardware.
Top 10 consoles sold by region:
Japan:
(Nintendo) Nintendo DS 32,990,000
(Nintendo) G...
Imalwaysright is well....right! haha
As many Sony fans would love to say Nintendo platforms are Mario and Zelda machines, how on earth can you spin Sony platforms are not Grand Theft Auto machines when that game has sold the most on PlayStation each and every generation? Call Of Duty, Madden and FIFA as well. In fact, most people who buy PlayStation didn't buy it for first party....until around PS3 and PS4. But still third party is the reason MOST people buy a PlayStati...
Yet this article included Switch in this total. Fail to read?
What's your point, this article is focused on Nintendo. You act as if I said this in a Sony article. Insecurity of a fanboy!
Switch is going to continue to add to this number. I love Nintendo history. :)
I'm officially hyped for Smash Ultimate. :P
@masterfox
Nintendo SAVED an industry that was dying when it bravely released it's NES. It paved the way for those that followed in a much more flourishing industry by the mid 90's. ;p
(Cough more Rockstar please....) :)
Hopefully we get Wolfen Youngblood too!!! :)
Cool. :)
That was fast!!!! I have been predicting over a million by the holiday but go Octopath! I stand corrected. :)
I'm impressed!!!
