Point taken Tank and I agree with everything you mentioned in your reply.
I wasn't putting words in your mouth, I just hit reply on the wrong comment. My reply should have been aimed at Gemmol and Supersonic.
My bad. Peace out x
Well said.
Probably the wisest thing said in this whole thread.
Yeah it's really paying off for them.........
How so exactly?
I'd have still bought it from playing a demo. It was the game that sold itself, not any other factor. It had more to do with it being good (f****** excellent actually) than it did being free on PS+
What exactly was the point of your post?In no way does the headline suggest that there is 40 million players on line at any time (tell me one single game that ever has?)
You just chose to make that inference and throw some toys out of your pram as a result. And for what?
You could have just said "well done" and saved yourself from looking foolish.
It's brilliant coming across a debate on an internet forum where both sides have got it so wrong.
This isn't a result of a PlayStation, X Box, PC or Nintendo factor. It's just an extremely accessible, tonnes of fun game with a high addiction factor. And that's all down to the developers.
You could argue that the PlayStation platform allowed for its initial development/growth due to their first game being on PS3.
But don&...
Or 256 player's on MAG. The game had it's issues but it was fantastic when people worked together
It's actually essential once you try it out. I've just treated myself to a steering wheel and chair and the experience you get from DIRT Rally in VR is sublime.
Gonna try this too as I'm (im)patiently waiting the next series.
3 comments in and not one of them even flirts with answering the point of the article (even if the same question gets asked every year).
The answer is still Pro Evo and it's not going to change anytime soon with the way they are improving it.
That's a good point but you also need to open your eyes to what the companies past records have been like. Their downfall isn't only attributable to how they started off this generation. How they fared at the tail end of previous generations is also a factor.
And going on this gens performance, it would appear that they have learned nothing from their past mistakes.
@Gamer7804 - OK, the money so far has went to high flying executive shareholders to inflate their already substantial investment portfolios.
6 new yachts have been bought, 14 have been upgraded and one guy bought another beach mansion in the Azores.
Now how does this help the current X Box gamers?
Very true Bluefox. Indeed, after the success of the 360 in garnering a good market share, you have to ask what could have been if they had been managed a bit better.
But the truth be told, they "managed" their way into their current situation. If that doesn't spell out their problems to the people in charge, I don't know what will.
This sounds like an application to join MS, and a successful one at that.
The worrying thing from your perspective is they get paid for their "fabrication of the truth.
What's your excuse?
But it's not an event conference to be streamed like he asked. You've linked to an event where gamers can mix with developers, ask questions and try out demos. It's not a conference like they have (and stream online) at E3.
There has been a lot of online petitions (and protests) over these proposed changes.
What we need are politicians who aren't in other people's pockets.
It's the one part of gaming that MS do trump Sony at is marketing.
Sony let's the system and it's games do the talking. MS will tell you anything to sell you a system, and yes as you alluded to yourself below, some of it is shady (eg untrue claims right through to shameful bare faced lying)
Nobody's saying they can't charge you for its use. In fact I don't know of any ISP who offer an internet service for free.
But losing net neutrality could mean that any ISP can charge you for a basic internet connection or even more for an upgraded prioritized connection.
Net neutrality is what exists today and was one of the founding principles on which the internet was built (which was done for the betterment of communications and society at large). It essentially says that every packet of data is treated the same, nothing is prioritized.
But this doesn't fit in with the business model of shafting everyone for some shareholders to make even more money on top of what they already have.
Losing net neutrality would be a...
No 1 & 7 for me. Can't wait to see how dreams has turned out (and I know it will have some VR functionality too) and would love to catch up with Kratos.
Here's hoping for a good show
Care to expand on that, explain what they done to your PS3 because they kept me pretty happy with mine.
Now where the f*** is Motorstotm for my PS4?
