At the time it was what it was. A damn good game and one amazing 3D adventure on home consoles like we never saw before.
And one thing is for sure, there was a lot less people that though the game was overrated, then people that though the game was one amazing achievment for it`s time. And that fact still stands. And considering someone is dissecting it 10 years after release says alot about it also.
I got it on the Iphone, Its good tower Defence game, with a genuine 16 bit Final fantasy feel to it.

I`ll be the first to admit that the Wii is a rebranded Gamecube with next gen controls and that just for the controles alone it deserves to to be counted as current gen imho. And I am also a true believer that its not how many coloring crayons you have, but what you draw with them that matter.

I'm tired of people saying that just because something is popular, oes not mean its good. On thing it clearly does not mean is that it's bad. Accepting people actually like something that you don't is a sign of wisdom, thinking that you like something that is better is not.
the game is fine, and as you said, they expected wow like numbers which they didnt get so this is just downsizing. I'm guessing these will be very active servers now and they game is a ood one and deserves an auience, which I believe it has.

I was stupid enough to buy a launch 60gb PS3 and think it's the best purchase I have ever made in all these years playing videogames. And I also was stupid enough to buy a TG16 for Bonks, and stupid enough to get a Sega CD and a 3D0. Heck, I was even stupid enough to buy 1 Xbox, 3 PS2's, 2 PS1's. I am sending out my 360 for an RROD this week, and would you believe it, I am stupid enough to actually miss it because there are games I actually enjoy on it. I am stupid enough to downclock my PC ...
(And I'm glad that someone out there is taking a stand for the PS3 because this isn't 2006-2007 anymore when it was "uncool" to support the PS3, because if you look at the majority of people on this site, it's FLOODED with Playstation supporters.)
But it is, and always will be cooler to support all consoles and gaming in general, remember that. United we stand, devided we fall. And feeding or defending console wars stuff is ruining online gaming communities.

1050000 to go and they payed for 2 episodes. I would think it`s a decent investement, as long as the second episode is as well done.
I really hope Rockstar is cooking something up for the PS3 as well, Rockstar seems to have figuered out a good way to show a story from different perspectives and more people should be able to experience this.
btw, why would anyone care is they break even or not, as long as we get good extra content, which is what we are getting.
and I though this was a big change, nothing extreme, that's for sure.
