Kurk Schilling has been in the MMO community for years, he even has a boss in Ever Quest 2 named after him and has been working on an MMO with R A salvator and Mcfarlane for a few years now. What`s new is the retirement, but Schilling being an MMO geek is old news. He has been playing them and wanting to make one for years. He also owns the Azeroth advisor which is a news letter for wow aimed at your toons.
I was more playing at the Irony of the term 3D in gaming, it`s so over used. Wipeout on my PS1 played on my 37` Trinitron 12 years ago was very immerssive, no glasses needed. Look at the Sega commercial, I was joking around, rightly so also imho.
I`m sure it will be cool and the ugh was in response to the very old Sega glasses.
Well then, check out this gem, you can get it now of Ebay I`m sure. It was built from the ground up to be a 3D game ;D
Man are we in 1995 again? I got a PS1 because it was the best console for 3D games at the time lol. Last time I checked all Elder Scrolls where in 3d and so was Killzone 1 and 2.

The Atari you guys seem to be refering to is dead and long gone. Atari Games which made the Rush games was bought by Midway years ago and I doupt they would jump back into that catalogue, its just not them anymore.
Good Times Interactive is the new Atari, and the old one is dead and buried.
I have always went both ways. I would get an Ati card, then an Nvidia card, then an ATI, ect. Atm I have a BFG 9800gtx+ which I replaced my old ati 1650pro with. Mind you, my first ever gpu was a Voodoo.

Who cares who hyped it or who didnt. It is a good game that didnt sell well, that is all. It has an 80 meta critic, the game is not bad and if people felt the need to tell people it was good, so be it. I know I did.
