the Atari 2600 sold 25 million consolesin North america at a 199$ from 1978-1983. you`re a smart guy, I`ll let you turn that into 2008 dollars on your own. ;D
yeah, and good thing Ps3 haters and 360 haters are nothing but a small vocal minority in the actual gaming market, cause if they where not, we would all be doomed.
Let`s say the Ps3 drops to 200$. and the sales triple which would be amazing. It would catch up to the 360 in a year or so, and even by then it wont matter cause the Xbox would of already made it`s mark.
Knowing that all consoles are doing great and we will all have great games to play because the competition is hot means you`re a real gamer. Caring that one (might) destroy another console as if they where two robots fighting in the sky means you are...well, you know what you a...
To me they look exactly the same and to be honest, I could not give a rats a$$, they both play great and feel the same.
However I must say one thing, of all the Multiplatforms I have sold at my store, SF4 is the first one where I see the PS3 crowd really come out. The Ps3 version of this is selling alot more then the 360 version, it`s crazy.
yeah, love the Halo universe and the Demo sold it to me at the menu screens. Glad to see it`s getting well received and can;t wait to jump into this story.

and yes, I'm gloating. And I love Race Pro, Motorstorm 2 and Gears of war 2 atm, and can't wait for Halo wars and will be playing Loco Roco 2 on my commute to work today. Being a real gamer is so great. How are you fanboys holding up? still stuck on one console? sad....

I agree, but they have quantity and quality. Sadly people are skipping on their major titles. Viva Pinata 2 and Banjo Nuts and bolts are two quality games. At great prices that got lost in the frey.
the controls are different, but I got used to it quickly, Its an all around great single player experience thus far. And to be honest, in the bot matches, it felt exactly the same.I started a bot match just now after I read this and besides the lack of cover, it`s the same freaking thing imho.

I got an advance copy and I can`t even take it online yet but I can tell you for sure that the single player is a great experience, but nothing revolutionay, besides the amazing graphics ofcourse.

It must be noted that Rare has released 19 games since being purchased by MS. Granted the top tier titles have not faired well in sales, they where well recieved and where good quality games. They have been working a lot and have released more games in 6 years then Guerilla, Bungie, Naughty Dog and insomniac combined.
A resrtucturing should be at hand, but dead, they are not.
nope phosphor112, that`s called marketing, want me to give you a few quotes from Guerilla in the past? They have said some pretty bold claims in press releases in the past.
You got to show off your sh*t and not talk about the bad stuff, or else it`s just bad business. Just look at Sony, they are kings at that, they almost never admit to faults, they are perfect, and they have all the right to talk like that, as Epic does, and as Guerilla have done.
Actually it comes to around 570$, and it was seliing in North america alone in a much much smaller market then we have today. the 2600 does deserve some credit for what it did in it`s time. And so does the Ps3 of course, but that was not my point.
