Sounds good. Just do yourself a favor, Capcom: make the gunplay/melee similar to RE5, and not RE6. There's a reason the online community is still thriving with that game...
@Bigpappy
"It is not enough to SUCCEED. Others must FAIL." ----- Gerard Irvine
So, with that being said: "Others"...DIE ALREADY!
Well, this was one of the main attraction points for Microsoft's Xbox One, so...should be good news for you guys.
Me? I'll just be...Hell, I don't know...watching the games on TV. How old fashioned of me... :-/
Microsoft officially launching the Xbox One in China is as effective as rubbing two cocks together...*smh*
Good grief. Where's the white flag already, Microsoft?! :-/
Who are YOU to tell me that subs are as good as dubs? Next thing you know, all games will be subbed, like how publishers got rid of manuals. What a joke...
They shouild have BEEN gotten rid of this guy. Reggie needs to take the big AXE, also...*smh*
Look, Nintendo has an INCREDIBLY loyal fanbase, great. But even Ninty can't keep spamming the same Mario/Zelda/Metroid/Kirby BS to gamers. It just seems...*kiddy*, to me. I don't hate Nintendo, just that...with their style of gaming (which I like the fact that they don't try to compete with MS/SONY), they could do a HALO-style game with their own unique flair of graph...
I completely agree with you on every point you made...except the fact of "make profits" part. Here's why: Microsoft's business model in the console gaming universe has ALWAYS been "let's mimic what SONY is doing!" The reason I say that is because the Xbox came out to challenge SONY's second console on the market. What did they bring? They brought what SONY brought (for the most part). What did Nintendo bring? Their own niche style of games. How many ...
I just got an "offensive" strike put on me, for a similar comment. Somehow, I think you'll get by with yours, though...
Very good article. Makes me look at digital buying in a different light, now.
I'm not sure when they announced it, but...it's coming to PC, presumably.
Does anyone know how much it is to rent a game for 24hrs at a Redbox Kiosk? Why don't you guys find that out, compare that to PS Now, and come back here and tell us all again how the PS Now service is "highway robbery"...*smGDh*
@andibandit
But who DO you compare the service to, if not to Gamefly? What other game rental service would like to compare the PS Now to, that reveals how SH*TTY the PS Now service is? Anyone? NO ONE. And, as I said earlier, the PS Now is only going to get better (restoring servers to some games would be a GODSEND). There's so much more potential with PS Now over EA Access, Gamefly, Blockbuster Online, whatever.
And the prices? The MARKET establishe...
Okay. Let's call out some people/notions real quick about PS Now. Do you guys know what service it is in competition with, at the moment? Gamefly. Gamefly charges $22.95/month for the rental of 2 *somewhat* dated games, kinda like PS Now. And that's been THRIVING for Gamefly. But PS Now, with the ultimate idea of 3 generations of Playstation game libraries realized in the future and a (hopefully) unlimited access subscription model coming, how is this so much a *BAD* deal? If y...
DirtyPimp made a good point. Why did N4G take this article down, so quickly?
http://n4g.com/news/1559318...
OT: Eh. The game list is ho-hum, right now. I'd like to see some more classics and SNK games, myself... :-/
And, of course, a subscription model...
Well said...
From the CEO of Gaikai concerning games on PS Now:
"This is not just the basic game, it’s the game with all the stuff."
http://www.wired.com/2014/0...
He's referring to the DLC with alot of these PS3 games. THEY'RE ALL FULLY LOADED WITH THE DLC. That's...powerful.
Holy sh*t. Give this S.O.B. the gas chamber, already...*smGDh*
Okay. I totally disagree with the (clickbait) article, but here's a couple of possible solutions to all PS4 gamers that find PS Now atrocious:
1) Not rent anything. You can do what you've been doing for the past...I don't know, 30-something years of gaming?... and just buy whatever game you want directly on disc (new or used) or PSN.
2) You can choose the other *GAME* rental services. Notice how I said *GAME*, which excludes Netflix, VUDU, Hulu...
