Your points on SFV being a flop and "Xbox One = Quality Games Only" are ridiculous. However, your first sentence does ring alot of truth. Capcom (& Namco) need more interesting modes for their fighting games. Look at BlazBlue. There are so many different/interesting/challeng ing modes AFTER Arcade/Multiplayer mode. Where's...a fun bowling mode/Dynamic Fighting mode (a la Street Fighter Alpha)/Legendary Mode (a la Soul Calibur)? Hell, where are your deeper/more obscure ...
I think Sledgehammer Games got paid PLENTY of millions, just to rehash the same game engine year after year after year. And the game is THIS broken still, while the game gets a timely annually review score of 9's & 10's (no change in review score, I bet).

As the Forbes article pointed out, it's not JUST "can you see the difference?" People spent PLENTY good money on big, widescreen 3D/Full HDTV's, we want our money's worth! We went out and bought these next gen consoles, after hearing pipe dreams all last gen about 1080p games...we don't wanna hear about how you STILL can't hit 1080p consistently! Give me 1080p, or give me DEATH!

Nice try but luckily, by the time Ubisoft decides to bless the PS4/PC community with more SPAM, MGSV @1080p/60fps will be out, Bloodbourne would be out, LBP3 would be out, The Order 1886 would be out, & UC4, also @ 1080p/60fps, would be on the way later. So, knock yourself out next year with The Crew & The Division, and another SPAMmy version of AC. I won't be there...
See how these developers/publishers will take kindness/fondness/love of a franchise for WEAKNESS? If this was a "buy the game full price, we'll give you everything. Just give us full price", then I get that. But now it's just...DLC/Season Pass SPAM. I'll be there, USED, thank you.
Listen, guys. As a console gamer, would I LIKE 60fps? Absolutely. Have I been used to 30fps for like...all of my console gaming life? Yes, so life will move on without 60fps on my next gen consoles (if developers choose to not make their games at that fps). It's the resolution/effects for the average console gamer that rubs us the wrong way. I didn't pay $400+ dollars while I had a PS3 just to see...more of the same. And on top of that, the strong marketing of 1080p "FullHD"...
Looks good, but I'm not going to preorder. It's UbiSoft, after all... :-/ The only games I'm preordering are PS4 1st party games or 3rd party exclusive PS4 games that interest me. UbiSoft/EA/Activision has to PROVE to me they deserve my $60 at launch, based off of trust.

Just a friendly reminder: The Crew is "Online Only". I don't know if there's a single player mode or not, but...you're not playing it unless you're online. Deal breaker, for some...plus the twitch streams and YouTube videos of the beta have shown that the graphics look like pure Ubisoft SPAM... :-/

My perspective: Publishers/Developers are in a position of POWER, over Daddy Warbucks (Microsoft). They're saying to themselves, "You made the weaker console Microsoft, now I have to bust my @$$, use more resources, and spend more time in development for you to not look inferior to gamers?! Sure, I'll work a little harder than normal with your ESRAM. But...it's gonna cost ya!"

The thing that puts Microsoft in a lose-lose situation EVERY SINGLE TIME is...it's the same price! The console, the games...after removing THE ONLY thing that was a selling point to the Xbox One (Kinect 2.0), they're now trying to pawn off on people a system, the same price as its competitors which sell 95% of the same games, with a weaker graphic performance and...same price?! Sorry Microsoft, nobody's doing that...

There's an article on N4G saying that Project Cars on PS4 is 1080p/60fps, and the Xbox One is...something lower. Not to instigate or anything but...yeah. :-/

Look. I get the potential for VR, and I see it having amazing games in the future. But come on. I'm not buying a $300+ VR headset to be able to play Sega Saturn-quality games in 3D, guys... :-/ And as much as I realize that this is just alpha/beta builds of games, we don't need to see...this. Show off REAL games with REAL nextgen quality, so we can get FOR REAL hyped for Oculus Rift/Project Morpheus. 'Til then, we don't need to see stuff like this...

On topic: The Last of Us was amazing. The DLC left alot to be desired, though. Come out with a part 2 in the vein of The Walking Dead games with another strong storyline and you'll have another winner.
