A sony figure came out to say there would be no PS5 announcement this week.
The news had been submitted here for approval but was rejected because it was based on a rumour. Rather than let people read the response now we have a lot of users still expecting it to happen on this site
Activision laid off hundreds of employees to save costs in the same year they made record breaking profits and gave Bobby Kottick a disgustingly large bonus on top of his already obscene paycheck.
They left a huge library of properties dormant for years so they could force more studios into a cycle of developing Call of Duty games.
They lock demos for upcoming games behind preorders.
Remember when they tried to sell Spyro 1 on a disc titled a...
I cant wait for this game
Handling your finances has nothing to do with it Ice. Ive 800euro put aside for the console launch and it makes me no more likely to get one.
The vast majority of businesses are holding off on taking orders because of the lack of information. If anything this is to the detriment of those who have been planning ahead. Rather than getting in early like theyve been planning and accommodating to, someone else is going to swoop in last minute and prevent that.
Mistake? What mistake can they make?
Its expected to launch in 2 months! There's nothing they can change about manufacturing, pricing, launch line up or any of that now.
There's never been a large scale console launch with such an information drought like this.
You fob off "a couple of gamers and some mothers" but at the end of the day this is their consumer! Not something to be so lightly brushed off.

It has become a complete pisstake now. I was in a game shop this afternoon and there was a woman at the counter asking about it. She wanted to know prices and order one but the staff couldn't do it. She is worried she won't get one for her son for Christmas.
Enough of the bollox Sony just make the announcements already. All this is doing is putting people out
That is horrific!
Theres a trend of EA and Activision starting to do this. Adding in poor practices weeks after release through updates so classifications and reviews have all passed!
Haha this is the best thing I'll read this weekend
I agree with everything Lucy's said. I can summarise it all down to one or two sentences to make it easy and save me repeating points.
Tomb raider lost its sense of adventure and instead became a masochists wet dream
As a huge fan of the series all through my childhood it pains me to say this but after the recent trilogy I just couldn't care if they do or not
My local shop got the physical board game back in stock today and im thinking of picking it up tomorrow. Wasn't aware there is a digital version 🤔 wonder if I should try it that way first
Doing everything I can!
Im raging that the only dedicated game store near me is a poxy Gamestop and while I've been on a mailing list waiting for them to open their preorders I found out they already had and by the time I got in they had 370 people in a list ahead of me! UGH! Why even have the notification system?!
Those responsible for EA sports current box cover art and those who approved it should all be sacked. No two ways about it 🤮
Divinity Original Sin 2 will definitely make my list of favourite games from this gen! And Larian Studios making a new Balders Gate is actually a pretty big deal.
In fact most of my anticipated games currently are Strategy games of some description. Iron Harvest, Empire of Sin, Age of Empires.
The rest are next gen games or games with no solid date like Biomutant.
And I'm going to be a nostalgic sucker this weekend and get Tony Ha...
I was going to say the same. I must be getting old or something because I just can't get excited about a game that's had a million previous entries in a series.
Avengers should be something I'd be excited for, being a fan of the characters and comics but live service games are boring and the beta did nothing to change my opinion of that.
At least Cyberpunk is setting itself out from the crowd
You could do with a lesson in Reading comprehension there Jukins. I directly referenced the "free" ones
Yes. I have looked into the Avengers battle passes. I've read the information release they had to put out in order to get people to understand the sheer amount in game market this game has. Exclusive content to mobile networks, Platform exclusives, Multi Character specific battle passes. Early signs point to this game being a money drain. You can guarantee t...
F*k off Forbes!
Are we really pretending these "free premium" battle passes arent actually the games natural progression being used to soften the implementation of the paid ones?
Square are being scumbags and the amount of paid content we know about already is disgusting
This looks great! Could fill the void the dodgy attempt at commandos 2 created
Thank You Microsoft!
Its about time someone made a move!
