Myself and 4 of my friends had planned to road trip this one and get it launch night at a Smyths about an hour and a half drive from home. I was the only one of the 5 able to bag one though

The dualshock 4 is my favourite controller to date when it comes to size, feel and button placement but the battery is not great and I had a really bad time when it came to analogue drift. I had 4 controllers experience the issue in a fairly short period of time. 2 of my friends had the same problem.
But heres the funny thing. Im almost thankful for it ha. I thought the issue was getting out of hand so I learned to solder and replace the parts so I coukd fix the issue inste...

When you googled PS5 earlier this morning there was a quicklink to the US blog page.
Had the PS5 price listed at $399 and $449
Obviously with any of these things you'd need to take it with scepticism but there were a LOT of screen captures floating around this morning
Looks like the US blog might have let the prices slip already so I would definitely expect the price on Wednesday night officially

I absolutely agree Elda. There are a lot of people out there that don't fall into that category though.
Somy is coming into a new gen off the back of an excellent one. This gives them an opportunity to grab some xbox owners. However with the shortage concerns and the painfully long wait for information some of those potential owners might just be convinced to stay on Xbox because of the value of game pass and the security knowing they can order one soon
They really don't have that luxury. With Xbox pre orders opening a few days later they would piss off too many people and might sway them away.
Don't get me wrong I would still se Playstation outselling Xbox but it would be a great way to lose a lot of foothold. Especially to the Series S for price point

The teaser they released for Wednesday night got millions of hits within a few short hours. Their showcase has the hype and reach so that is definitely where we are getting our price and date.
If their PAX show was going to be as important they'd be plugging that already but they arent.
Everywhere that did take orders got fleeced within the hour.
As more businesses open throughout today expect more of the same
