Horizon, Sifu, Elden Ring, Grid Legends, Martha is Dead and potentially Evil Dead.
Unbelievable month
Nope. The pair of them are just slimey
"Yes, let's ignore that Kotick will be out by 2023 if the deal goes through" ...with a disgustingly large pay bonus.
That wretch should be facing criminal charges and financial ruin.
Fifa is the biggest selling game every year in Europe and it would be the ticket to dominating the region. A region that is also largely playstation loyal. It would be a huge acquisition.
I've heard nothing but great things
And in some circles game pass quality has been a conspiracy theory.
Damn I cant stand either of those two!
While I absolutely agree with you, This just may be the future of the industry whether we like it or not. Other media have gone through similar transformations and they were powerless to prevent it. Gaming has become a media juggernaut. It has far outgrown us nostalgic fools. If this is the future of gaming.. and let's be honest it most likely is. The only ones who will truely lose out are those of us who refuse to adapt with it
Not that you'd really know it in recent years :/
Well a press release has been given and Kottick is to stay as CEO. That's a bad look. A bit of a slap in the face to the 1000 strong employees doing what they can to have him removed. Instead he surely just got a huge bonus payment
Unfortunately Activision shut down Vicarious Visions so the team behind Crash and Tony Hawk remakes are gone
Absolutely. First port of call is to throw Kottick out the door.
I can imagine his resignation is days away from being announced as part of this deal anyway
Shame it took them 10 years though
Holy Shit!
That's actually one of the big reasons that the laser focus on non stop sequels from developers is draining creativity from the market.
Developers are restricting themselves within the perimeters of existing properties and new techniques / ideas / risks aren't being explored. There are many examples over the years of Developers creating new properties between their familiar projects, that they grew and learned new skills with.
The Ascent was the 1st game I went to when I got my Series X a few days ago and I am loving it. I'll definitely be recommending it to a few friends on the Playstation side when it finally releases there.
Put me off playing Odyssey and Valhalla. I'd played all games in the series up to that point. I didnt like how bloated they made Origins and they doubled down on the for the sequels so I skipped them entirely
I ordered a Series X yesterday. Should have it tomorrow. Looking forward to it now
The boardgame Community strives to be inclusive and very progressive of these issues so this might not go down well, but Tabletop Simulator has been an industry lifeline over the last 2 years with developers even adapting to it for conventions. So there'll be plenty out to defend TTS too.
It does sound like this woman went out of her way to create an issue here but that's going on what little info we have.
Theres always a red flag in my mind when some minor squabb...
I think for Evil Dead to work it actually needs to be a great kind of terrible ha
