Series X is easily available in Ireland. Nearly every Smyths store has a number of them and has done for a while now. Its not a great sign that Christmas didn't clear that stock out. That attitude is shared in most of Europe. Xbox has done extremely well but its about to hit a slump. At least until Starfield or the next nearest big game starts to pull people in again.
I'd love for a PlayStation or Switch release of Inscription.
The lack of difficulty actually put me off it for a bit but having recently enjoyed playing Wilmots Warehouse I think I can see past that in favour of the experience
I have an XB1S so I could play both on there or on PC. I've just spent a lot of 2021 trying to clear my backlog first
And where the hell is Factions?!
The artful Escape is ranking high on a lot of lists. I really must give it a go
They definitely made up the majority of my 2021. The indie game sales are my favourite ones
I got Returnal for Christmas so I'm looking forward to finally playing it.
XIII was a great game on the PS2 its a shame they made a complete balls of the remake
And dare I say it! ...... a console port? :D
Forgive me Father looks so good
BotW isn't even my favourite Switch game. I had more fun with Twilight Princess which I look back fondly of when I think Zelda games but there seems to be some sort of conspiracy theory building in the comments section here that anyone who didn't enjoy BotW is sour over Horizon Zero Dawn not getting a game of the year award. N4G is a weird place, everyone seems to know you better than you know yourself even if you've never met
It is so bizzare but every time I read it, I cant help but roll my eyes and think "of course this is happening"
There's a huge divide between gaming media and the greater public perception of Xbox. Its not a new phenomenon. It has been around for more than a decade now and it certainly won't go anywhere any time soon.
I take a lot of issue with Nintendo and the price of their software. Their fanbase won't push back against it tough so it's never going to change.
And yes! I messed up and meant to say feeling "content" oops haha
2 of the games from your list are not on Xbox and 1 is a multiplatform title.
Flight Simulator released last year (unless we are counting games brought forward to the platform late in which you can start listing Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding etc. But let's not bother)
There are also titles left off that list because of your clever wording but Kena and Guilty Gear Strive were critical darlings too.
Like I said push MS to d...
I loved these games as a kid!
It wouldn't make my top 100 at all. I just couldn't take to it. But then my entire top 100 would look very different to this list with only a few titles crossing over
2021 really wasn't Sonys strongest year, but they had some great releases throughout. Enough to keep us contempt anyway.
Xbox is getting far too much praise. Halo infinite is getting a free pass from mainstream media and Forza is pulling the Xbox brand's weight all over again. MS had a stronger year than usual but there's no way people should lay off the pressure for Microsoft to do better. Gamepass is saving Xbox and that's fine and well. I personally would...
I'm fine with 30 Fantasies Per Second as long as the gameplay and story are good!
I miss these games so much
