There is way to many things tied into Windows that it is impossible for it to be beaten. Even people who hate Windows are forced to deal with it. There is nothing that show dominance like that.

I can honestly tell you it's looking great, especially in HD!! I'm not saying it's groundbreaking or anything but you can see the potential for the "WOW" factor considering it is only a beta. What I can say needs work is the character details themselves.
But the best part is the gameplay!!!! Bringing back the pistol brings something back that was missing in Halo 2. Halo fans will not be disappointed!
And Madden sucks!!!!!
Much rather play 2K with no license then this crappy game.
That is why it sells so many damn copies. What other videogame has tournaments all over the place like Halo???? None!!! We had Halo tournaments in my dorm room every Wednesday night and you had to get there extra early just to sign up. Only other game I ever seen have tournaments like that is Madden, and that's because it's football.

Wow!! That is one fanboy comment if I ever heard one. Personally from my own standpoint I only see crap coming for PS3 this year. Killzone is the only one that would interest me, but then again, fell for that trap last time, and that game was bloody awful. No thank you, I much perfer Halo 3 and the line up MS got lined up.
That is why I got a 360 this generation and will bypas the PS3. And you know there are a whole bunch of people like me.

Taking on Myspace is like taking on Microsoft in the OS market. Not going to happen. Way too many people already invested in Myspace. Why would anyone change to another service when All there friends are on myspace. And besides everyone is already completely content with myspace, and my boy TOM is acurrently dealing with all the spammers.
Wal-mart has such a huge monopoly that it would be suicide for the companies to pull any support. Can you imagine how much money they would lose????? and there competition would only hugely benifit.

But when you can see the game on A HD screen bigger then your bedroom you will see how great this game is coming out. Just watched the video with all my friends who came over and we're all sitting here about to piss our pants with how incredible Halo is looking. My last two friends were just convinced to go with a 360 instead of a PS3 now. Now all 12 of us our 360 fans. Oh happy day!!!
Only reason these units are not selling off the store shelves, PS3 as well, is because of the high price point. That is why it is not fair to compare this generations numbers with last generations numbers.
Once both systems reach an affordable price, that is when people can talk realisticly about the success of the systems.
Since Sony has dropped the 20 gig version of the PS3, what good would a $100 price drop do?? It would only make the 60 gig the same price the 20 gig sold for.....and yet that was still deemed too expensive for the mass market.
And a price drop for Sony would force a price drop by MS. Think that would make the 360 Core hit the magic $200 price point.
You guys are only looking at it from a gamers point of view. Yes it will help the hardcore gamers and those who can afford the PS3. But what is ultimately hurting the PS3 is the price point.
Now that the 20 gig model is gone the best thing we can look forward to is a price drop of the 60 gig model......to the same price that the 20 gig sold for!?!
Since even the 20 gig model was deemed to expensive by the general audience, what makes you think they will rush out to buy a 6...
