I was going to say the same thing. BF games tend to be a mess when they launch. But atleast there is a try before you buy and discount option. And from what I have seen, as a fPS, I like the game itself. I have BF4 premium (all DLC) and love it on XB1.

I have had the game for two weeks and have not experienced this. Which suggests they patched/fixed it last year. Nice try though.

Personally, im taking a wait and see approach with this game. I dont buy into all this "its a smear campaign" theory that fanboys on N4G keep coming out with. If a bunch of people who actually have played this game feel some type of way about it. Then that means tread with caution. I should not be seeing this many "concern" articles...

I agree with you. People dont want to debate the games they favour. They just want you to agree with their opinion and jump on the bandwagon.
God forbid, these journos dont sing praise about THEIR HANDS ON EXPERIENCE with this game. Its all one big conspiracy to sully the name of the order, because its an exclusive. Therefore completely without flaws. At least that is the impression I get from N4G posters about this.

I agree with what you are saying but just on the point of new studios, I think they should have had this mentality much earlier. It would have saved them a lot of headaches. They could have bought bioware and a few others, but passed those up, for whatever reasons (bioware were already giving them the goods with KOTOR, jade empire and the first mass effect...MS should have bought them, the moment they were for sale) But atleast they are getting their act together o...

That could happen. But it depends how much of a visual sacrifice would have to be made. The other alternative is to tone down the detail in MP (if need be the case)and keep 1080P/60FPS. Depends how important they feel 60...
That also pushes the envelope for PS4 graphics performance. ND will make the right calls in the end.
30FPS is fine. The game looks stunning, so if they can make it super polished ( rock solid 30FPS, great AA and post FX) Ill be very pleased with that. I know this game has an online, but nobody really cares about that part of the game, to be honest ( you will all play COD, BF,KZ, and GTA instead along with DC and planetside2, mark my words), so 60FPS is not needed.
