Indeed. for competitive games like COD, halo, CS, street fighter, tekken, forza, GT etc, I think its a must.
I dont miss it for games like the witcher or say a skyrim/fall out/GTA. just give me locked 30FPS that never drops regardless of what is going on, on screen and high IQ, for such games.

Not knocking indies at all. But Its pretty obvious why the rest of the time all we get is indies. Its cheaper to give away a $15 game than a $49 game every month.

If everybody refused then they would stop making DLC. plain and simple. You would just get the game as it is on disc. since when was adding new content, post launch a bad thing? for a driving game it is needed and help expand its play life greatly, if you are into racing games.

You can forget about that in AAA games, right now.and any that do will not look as good as games running at half the framerate. Dont mean to be a debbie downer but, it needs to be said. Devs will for the most part shoot for high IQ over high FPS, this gen. Just like they always do. you want both? get a PC.
Well...You could always ..you know...buy the games you want to play instead of waiting for a free handout. Support the devs of the games you play. Its just a thought.
Im starting to think, that the reason MS and sony are so keen to get indies is, so they can give us free games without it costing them an arm and a leg. I pay for live to play with my friends/party chat etc. Not to bothered about what they give for free, as I just about have time to play all my games anyway. I have shadow of mordor and FH2 and STILL have not gotten around to playing them...since buying them back in november.

Personally, I prefer halo, but I dont expect it to outsell a game that has access to twice the userbase of the XB1. Halo is a great game. Probably the best multiplayer FPS ever conceived. But it cant part the red sea or make miracles happen.
Now, if both consoles had an even number of sales, I would say halo will outsell UC4, no questions asked. Even if they were behind sony by about 2 million. But the gap is nearly double, so.... It is what it is.

yes. For £14.99 you get the best looking racer currently available (even if the driving experience, itself is a little hollow). Ill be picking it up again. I probably should have waited in the first place fro this price/used copy.

yes, it was before phil was running the show. Before they even went public about being up for sale. Mass effect should have been enough to show them that Bioware belong in MS ranks. Even now as they are owned by EA, I cant help but think they would have been better off at MS. Ray Muzyka, Greg Zeschuk, and Augustine Yip, would never have left.
I think they realised going with EA was a mistake.
