This and FF type0-HD will be my first FF games. Figured I mas aswell try em out since this is one of the few gaming series I have never played.

Yup. They already made the mistake of missing out on buying bioware (they have a history of OG xbox exclusives, like KOTOR and jade empire, ANd they did approach MS to buy them before EA. Remedy are like an unofficial MS 1st party. MS/remedy have a pretty strong relationship.
Looking forward to this, as I loved the max payne and alan wake games. I still hope we get a proper conclusion to alan wake, this gen, at some point. Maybe even bundle in a HD remake of the first game plus ...

Both look like shit. Ill pass, anyways. I hate unlocked frame rates that are not consistent. All that means to me is inconsistent controller response. They should have just capped at 30 and cleaned up the visuals. Especially after GT5's port being so damn good. Probably the worst looking game on current gen consoles.
PC, seems to be the only platform capable of doing last gen ports as, in a satisfying manner.

I wouldnt say no to such a game! lol. I loved the cowboy beebop anime films. In some ways I would say han sol inspired the cowboy beebop character.
but just think about the kind of character Han solo is for a minute. He is a bit of a rogue. Finds himself, neck deep in space criminal activity. It could be a really interesting, mature, dark take on the starwars universe. A adventure into the seedier parts of the starwars universe, away from the usual jedi/s...
It actually dont look too bad! Deffo looks better on my PC, going by them pics ( I also get the benefit of 60FPS @1080P with most of my settings high). But If I dint own a custom rig, I could live with this version.

I agree, the only way you could stay alive in a match like that is if you are watching from a distance. With a sniper. And you dont fire a single shot. But that would be boring. at some point you would run across the field to take part...only to be blown to bits by a magrider, or a reaver! lol
This could have a good story though. han solo, is like a space cowboy.
Think about it like this:
Starwars battlefront is the multiplayer FPS
Stars wars "han solo" = A TPS, game with stealth, cover based gun fights, with a bit of melee. And an interesting story. And UC like cinematic set peices.
And a more jedi centric game based off the movies.
And I would hope we see a jedi fighting game.

Dx12 wont be a MASSIVE improvement. But it will have more gains than the few FPS, you are talking. A few FPS is not an improvement , in any devs mind..much less a gamers. So you are misinformed if you think that is all it will bring. I suggest you do some research on tiled resources. do you know how many gigs of texture data they can store in that tiny bit of ESRAM, in the XB1? go look it up. And if crackdown delivers on its promise, then future XB1 games will have some VERY impressive, truly...

There is no movement penalty to zooming in, in halo. Never has been. Never will. They simply show the gun now. And to somebody who has not played halo 5, it most certainly can, look that way.
