Sales mean everything. Especially to the MMO market. When you buy a game and then continually pay the monthly fee to keep playing. You're pretty much buying the right to play the game each month after the first. So, again.. sales mean everything.

That's pretty much every game on the market. What's your point? Regardless of what your tastes are in games and entertainment, It's all about having fun. WoW is fun to millions of people. And that's all that matters. Hell, I think Halo, and Gears were terrible games. Meh graphics at best, and a Sci-Fi story that isn't any different than the rest of the Sci-Fi shooters out there. Don't even get me started on GTA4. But millions of others thought the games rocke...

Don't get me wrong, I think LBP is cool. But, I haven't been a big console fan for the past few years. Now, when the next God of War, and Final Fantasy come more and more into reality, I'll start getting excited.

I've played the hell out of CoD and Warhawk at a friends house.. Not really much for me to look forward to there.
So why would I just buy a console for 1, maybe 2 games? No point.

True, but I really don't see WAR being able to become WoW's equal. Much less being more. Having about a 4 year head start doesn't help. But WoW caters to the hardcore, as well as the casual gamers. WAR not so much and until they do(if), WoW will always be an unreachable dream to Mythic and WAR.

It wouldn't surprise me, that in some prisons the "better" inmates get to do some internet surfing/playing.
The problem I see with WAR, is that when you decide you're wanting a break from constant PvP. There isn't much of a PvE content to take a break with. Not to mention, when server populations are low, PvP fails.
In WoW, you can just jump in and 9 times out of 10, there is something to do PvP wise. And PvE if you can't find something to do you're blind.
