Sounds like an idea that was split when the teams split. This interview sounds like a PR cover up to me claiming it was in development 2 years prior to TF. Just be real, the team split up and you both decided to go forward with the idea. The result is TF and AW.

Also Solid Snake should not sound like Big Boss. You people need to understand that. That has been a big mistake by Kojima for a while now.
Solid Snake's story is done. Big Boss had a lot of stuff unexplained/showed. This warrants another MGS game.
