I said it helped. I didn’t say it was the only reason. I think the FTP model, Marvel, and the fact that it is a familiar type of game all play a role. However, if the Marvel IP wasn’t attached I think it would’ve had a very hard time.

Having the marvel IP helps a ton. I find the game to be weak tbh.
Huge fan of Bloodborne. Platinum and all but I’m also been one of those guys waiting for a Socom 2 remake. I know to never expect anything anymore 😂

Funds the servers for the PS Network and XBL and allows those companies to invest in future projects but actual continues development for a specific studios one game? No.
Arrowhead will have to take their profits and reinvest it into their game. This is why MTX exist. However, it’s not egregious like some games. People do paint a general picture with MTX.

I’m another who plays this game a lot. Never felt like any currency is hard to come by. P_Bomb is correct. You can get super credits from the Warbonds easily. You also find them around the maps. You can farm them by playing pretty easy missions and grabbing them around the map.
IDK. I agree generally MTX are bad but this game provides so many ways that paying for anything is unnecessary. Unless you just want to support the game. Remember all future updates are free.
