People keep saying less QTEs as if it was rampant through out the game. It really wasn't.
Plenty of watching in ND games too. I think The Order is criticized unfairly.
Here is what I would say (I'm close to the end). The QTE battles are like Heavy Rain but more mature (naturally do to the years past), it has great cover shootout battles, stealth gameplay with TLoU/Manhunt like executions, and awesome weapons.

People determine what is valuable to them. You don't get to dictate that to others. This is why many got a lot of value out of MGS Ground Zeroes and others did not. Also replayablity is dependent on the individual too. I may love running through the story several times while you may not. Some games have so much in it but I may find I don't have an interest in it while you may.

If you play The Order you know giving it below a 5 is pretty strange.
Haven played the game myself I find the "takes the controller away from you", "only 5 hours", and "QTE plague" claims ridiculously exaggerated and absolutely stupid.
The sad thing is The Order is pretty damn good, but is bashed for things that other games get away with.
So far for me it's a 7.5 to an 8 out of 10.
Totally agree. I guess I'm basically saying especially stand clear from reviews of this one as the agenda on both sides is so pronounced.
The problem is when people say "gameplay should come first" they don't understand that comes in different forms. Heavy Rain is an amazing game and has gameplay just not the type of gameplay people who scream "It has no gameplay" wants to see.
When you have set up a bash campaign or praise campaign for a game for months you can't back out now. The Order is a game where none of the reviews are trustworthy.
I give Dying Light an 8, but I can see why it can get a 6.8 (not bad by the way). The missions aren't the best, some of the decisions as far as story doesn't make sense, the characters relationships aren't established well, but the game has great gameplay mechanics.

So basically you can do what the PS4 controller can do except you have to buy the batteries and P&C kit whereas the PS4 controller has a built in battery and comes with a P&C kit? Your defensive argument is asinine.
The amount of things you can do in MGS PP that we know of so far is mind blowing. You have the story, side missions, motherbase system, companions, motherbase online invasions, metal gear online 3, etc. GTA V has a lot, but as far as features go, I'll hang my hat on MGS:PP.

If it's like the alpha and beta, the game isn't worth $60 anyway imo, let alone all this extra money for skins.
After playing both betas I will say people will play The Order longer. Sorry but this game should not be full Price. After the first two games you play you'll realize it's simply the same thing over and over.
If this was a $30 digital game I could understand, but Evolve is definitely not worth full Price especially with Dying Light out there. You say The Order is limited but this game is limited in almost every aspect.
