Someone has difficulty with reading comprehension.
I agree with this review 100%. I wanted to love and support this game. But after downloading the demo, the flaws are obvious. I don't think the game is horrible, just frustrating, and visually confusing. I'm sure I'll pick it up eventually, but I won't rush out to buy this one when there are some guaranteed winners coming up very soon for WiiU.
3DS printing money. Sony doing very well. N + S FTW.
That gamepad looks friggin sweet, release a decal pack please!!
This looks like crap. I'll stick with My real WiiU Gamepad. And If I want off screen play, I'll pick up the WiiU version of the game.
@ shadowsteal
I love how you call is "Same IP" instead of "Old IP" in your list lol
I'll buy W101 eventually, but it's not a game that I will rush out to buy day one. Apparently others feel the same.
WHY ARE YOU YELLING? STOP YELLING AT ME
English, please
I want to buy this, because I know my kids would love it. GamePad would be a perfect fit. But the price is too high.
I am going to get trashed for this comment, but I did not like the demo, and probably will not buy the game at release. A few things that bother me:
1.) The Visuals. Don't get me wrong the game looks excellent visually, stunning colors and smooth frame rate... but there is just too much going on at once, it makes me feel like it's just a big mess, I don't know where to focus. Zoom - at times it feels as if I'm way too close to the ground, I want to zoom out a...
Higher than 8, certainly.
I like the controller. I think the hardware could have been more powerful though.
I think it takes years for any new console to gain traction with the general public. And in Nintendo's case, there are over 100 million Wii's out there. It is going to take a long time to convert all those old customers into new ones.
A little bit of this here, a little bit more there, it all adds up to create confusion, and is painful to see
I am throwing money at both Sony and Nintendo this year. Hopefully they both do well. Microsoft on the other hand.........
I wonder if gamestop has my copy right now, sitting in the backroom. But they just have to wait until Sunday. I should bum rush the counter clerk tie him up and steal his keys to the back room and find out..
Very good review of the game.
No posts for me for the next 2 weeks. Pikmin N4G Hiatus coming! I enjoy everything about the game... I even enjoy pulling Pikmin out of the ground from below my onion. So satisfying to create a tiny army. Does that make me weird?
Oh and relevant to the article, I am going to play and give the GamePad a chance before I dismiss it as a control scheme. You know, to try it out and see if I like it. If it seems to difficult, I'll move over to the Wiimote + Nunchuk
Commander Video. Little Mac. Shulk.
