I will be buying this game for X-mas! So I will have to wait to play it until then.
I don't blame him for passing the torch, he is getting older and probably wants to work on all those little game ideas he's had over the years. I definitely will be ready to play them... whatever he is up to.

I think the WiiU has a high satisfaction rate, people who own WiiU seem to like it alot, so I don't think it's a poor attempt at a console.
It's going to take a few years to phase out wii. The market is so saturated with Nintendo right now with Wii and 3DS I'm not surprised WiiU units are moving so slowly.
I like my WiiU. I think it is a machine worth having at it's price, and already has a few must play games. It certainly is not a pile...
Hopefully they discontinue the wii everywhere soon, and see where the real numbers lie.

I switched my pre-order to PS4 from WiiU. These are the types of things that are going to kill sales of certain games on the WiiU, so it is almost the fault of the devs themselves for not including it and shooting themselves in the foot.
My PS4 is going to need a game at launch, glad to see COD runs at a higher resolution on PS4 than Xbox!
If they really do want to stay relevant and stay in the console business after WiiU, they are going to have to come up with a.) another winner idea like the wii or b.) A console with monster specs that beat the competition.
Also, I am curious to see how ceasing wii production helps the WiiU. It might be helpful to take away some confusion if there was only one type of "Wii" on store shelves.

The WiiU GamePad Rocks. This controller is what makes the WiiU good. It's not that hard to understand, once you use it for a while. Especially with multiple players, kids etc. - it is so easy to use with the touch screen GamePad. Our family uses it every single day.
20 or so more days until we get PS4, but to be honest my WiiU will be certainly calling for my attention this holiday along with other next gen offerings.

Prediction: The WiiU and PS4 will be under my TV this holiday season.
