I liked the Witcher though I only made it to chapter 3 or 4 before I had to put the game down due to other obligations. From the screenshots, looks like no more Geralt. Kingdom Hearts 3 will probably be decent, but I wouldn't expect much out of the spinoff titles. The story for 358/2 days did little more than fill in a few blanks while copying cutscenes from previous games. Roxas' story was much more dramatic in KH2 when he wasn't even the main character compared to his dull debut in 358/2 days...
Well, as long as the series doesn't backtrack into familiar territory to try and resolve plot holes the games might end up pretty good...

Well this is a survey of a Japanese magazine of the Japanese library of PS3 games vs Xbox 360 games, so the result probably isn't that surprising. If it happened in a Western magazine, would have been bigger news ^^
well Atlus did Devil Survivor and just released Strange Journey for the DS so there's that. Plus the Devil Summoner stuff that I haven't really followed. So I wouldn't say they've been churning out Persona nonstop, though I can kind of understand your feelings

Well, rankings don't really matter that much other than for unlocking themes since you don't really need accrued TP, so someone could probably go through the game after the various characters reunite with just one paradigm shift and auto battle... bosses would just take forever and Tonberries would wipe that person's party out but hey it's possible...

I just finished the game yesterday and I actually preferred the story-driven "linearity" of the first chapters over the free roaming of chapter 11. If people think wandering from one end of the map to the other back and forth for the monster hunting quests and searching a maze for hidden treasure rather than having it easily visible along a "linear" path is more fun, then that's just their taste I guess... though I did participate in many of the monster hunting quests when...

But I can't really tell a great deal of difference between the two versions in the comparison video. Lightning's hair is more detailed and Sazh's afro is fuzzier ^^ and in areas with spirals of light are more exquisite in the PS3 version, but not really worth a big fuss? The difference in CG will probably be more telling though...
